What you also could have if Magnus is still doing fine and EC3 really comes along in the ring, you have a ready avenue with Dixie dumping Magnus and choosing to go all in with EC3 as the rightful champion for her company.

I just hate the name Rockstar Spud. It feels like a character name from TEW that someone changed the gimmick of but not the name.

The only really bad part is really Rockstar Spud. He just doesn't fit into TNA at all. EC3 has been incredible since he debuted, Magnus is a decent performer at worst and Dixie while not great isn't much worse from any other person who has played the lame heel authority figure role in the last few years. Rockstar Spud is awesome, how dare you. He's actually more enjoyable when working for some indies like PCW in England. The scene there allows for him to interact more intimately with hecklers, which is one of his strengths. TNA doesn't allow that kind of intimacy and the comedy skits they've been giving him have been painful.

They don't really count as a stable. They're all just doing business with each other.
The award of worst stable will always go to the clusterf**k that was Immortal. Even Aces and * made more sense than them.

Man, this thread made me realize something.
TNA is like a master class for bad stable building. From the beginning till now. I mean, it's easier to list the good and/or decent stables.

I'd give a nomination to both Serotonin and The Frontline as other bad TNA Stables. Serotonin were such a non-entity that they were beaten up in their debut by another stable, the Voodoo Kin Mafia of all people.
As for the Frontline, well there was nothing wrong with the members of the group, I suppose, but they just kept losing and losing and losing to the Main Event Mafia.

Even Aces and * made more sense than them. I dunno, I kinda wanna give Immortal a pass. Not for anything they did mind you, just for the things they could've done. A ridiculous, Illuminati-like cult dedicated to Hulk Hogan? That sounds pro-wrestling ridiculous and sometimes, I dig pro-wrestling ridiculous. I mean, like a CULT. Have Jeff Hardy hoist his championship up to a giant, gold-plated golden statue (sponsored by Gold's Gym) to Hulk Hogan with the other members leaving tributes to it. Druids dressed in red and yellow introducing Hogan everywhere he goes. Jeff Hardy going on a long paint-induced manifesto on how the blood god of Hulkamania DEMANDS MORE as he turns on Hogan himself, paints himself red and yellow and decides to become an avatar of Hulkamania... ...this is why I'll never book a pro wrestling organization.

Aces and Eights is worse because, once they unmasked, we were supposed to believe that Devon, Mike Knox, Luke Gallows, Garett Bischoff, Wes Brisco, and D-Lo Brown were taking over the company. TNA didn't even hide the fact that DOC was Gallows and Knux was Knox. They could have created new characters for them and established them as bad asses, but they didn't. It was just a bunch of underwhelming low/mid-carders and Bully Ray.
This faction is not designed to be tough. Spud is a punching bad sidekick, EC3 is the nephew getting special treatment, and Magnus is the main guy who Dixie wants to build the company around. EC3 is not looked at as a WWE guy, he is a brand new character, and Magnus is obviously a TNA mainstay. It's fine for what it is. Not that I'm a fan of it or anything, but it's not the worst stable ever.

As for the Frontline, well there was nothing wrong with the members of the group, I suppose, but they just kept losing and losing and losing to the Main Event Mafia. To me The Front Line fell apart the moment they decided that they needed Rhino to be the frontman and mouthpiece of the group. For Aces & Eights, I actually thought the fact that they were low-card nobodies could've easily worked in their favor. They were guys who could claim they were never given a real chance, and now they're disgruntled so they're gonna take that chance by force. Unfortunately that's not where it went and just became generic goons for Bully Ray and outlived their usefulness at that. As for "Team Dixie", you can't look at it like it's supposed to be the Four Horsemen. They're not all supposed to be main event caliber athletes. They're more similar to Raven's Flock. One credible guy surrounded by a bunch of scrubs who's entire goal is to protect that one credible guy.

I don't think they are a stable either.....I'm preying they are not a stable.
The worst faction I ever saw was "The Band" Old, older and drunk, and so drunk that he looks old.

It's hard to call this a stable when there are really only 2 wrestlers in the group. But if the Bromans join officially it would be some sort of anti DX from 1998. In fact between a questionably over Magnus as champ, the Bromans with the tag titles, and the random Sabin X division pushes TNA has some of the lamest champs ever right now.
I look at this faction like I would La Familia, except Magnus has yet to embrace the full white trash heel brilliance of Edge. Dixie is vaguely enamored with him, but as far as we know he isn't banging her yet. La Familia was a fun crappy faction because we knew they were cannon fodder to protect Edge.

We can't have discussion on bad TNA stables without mentioning the worst of the worst, the combination of some of worst all time TNA gimmicks ever.... THE MONSTERS OF ROCK Can you go into more detail about this? I feel like I was watching around the time but I have absolutely no recollection of this group.

It was a short-lived stable consisting of The Rock and Rave Infection (Lance Hoyt, Jimmy Rave, and Christy Hemme) and the Monsters that were terrorizing Eric Young, Black Reign and Rellik (that's Killer spelled backwards). Not much more to it.

Absolu-freaking-lutely not. I actually think this group is really entertaining. As an actual boss I believe Dixie sucks, but I actually like her character on TV, something I'd have punched myself in the face for saying a few months ago. I really enjoy Spud and his shenanigans, EC3 is great and comes off like a star, and Magnus is going to be fantastic if tonight's promo is any indication. There's lots of things wrong with TNA, but to me, this group isn't one of them. I love them.

I think Magnus is the weak link of the group, to be honest. Everyone else is at least well-casted as their roles, but Magnus is seemingly just there. I don't feel him as the centerpiece of the group, and it doesn't seem like he has a strong enough character in general.
It actually feels like Ethan Carter III should be the chosen heel champion, with Aunt Dixie in charge and Rockstar Spud doing her bidding and that's it. EC3 and Magnus's existence together almost feels redundant.

I don't think Magnus is exactly that down with this group, at least not yet. His whole heel turn was so odd and badly done if you think about it. He really didn't have any say in it, just Dixie's supposed deal with Hardy didn't pan out and Magnus was the only other logical choice. It's almost like Magnus is resisting the usual TNA storyline of someone turning heel once they win the belt.

In addition to all the stinkers already listed, there was one with Vito, Disco, and I think Pat Kenney that was plenty bad too.

I really don't want Magnus to bang Dixie, not because it wouldn't be hilarious, but we'd have to see her husband on TV again in some awful feud with Magnus eventually and I really don't want to see that.
