Big fan of Kelly's, and yes, she existed. Played a good solid underdog and was really coming into her own that last year. Shame she didn't stick around longer. I liked a lot of her matches.

Perhaps there never was a Kelly Kelly, because Kelly Kelly was here. *places hand on heart* In each and every one of us. *profound music* better her in us than us in her. who knows what we might catch?

Did Kelly Kelly exist or are we talking about Hardcore Holly? Actually, his cousin, Molly Holly.

WWE hiring a girl who had never set foot in a wrestling ring to play an "exhibitionist" stripper character even though she had never danced before instead of just signing any one of many gorgeous, sexy women from the indies or even Japan and Mexico who already knew how to work the ring and probably how to dance as well? Nah, they'd never do that.

Nah, they'd never do that. Because the moment WWE had someone like Mercedes Martinez playing a stripper, people would get their pitchforks and torches ready for the riot. Plus WWE sin't hiring any women from Japan and Mexico because of the language gap and time needed to learn the WWE way of wrestling.

I heard she was melted down to create Eva Marie, Is that true? Actually Eva Marie absorbed Kelly Kelly for power. She has to absorb Maria in order to evolve into Perfect Eva Marie.

K, to get a tad serious for a moment-I was never a fan of Kellyx2, mainly because of how forced her whole act felt for so long. But I blame WWE for that a lot sooner than I blame her or her fans. As I mentioned above, WWE hired Kelly and threw her onto tv with minimal preparation; she had never set foot in a wrestling ring, and by all account had never had any interest in being a wrestler beforehand. They gave her an exhibitionist character before she even knew how to play it, and in her early "expose" appearance it was painfully obvious she had no idea what she was doing. They could just as easily have put her on the air as simply an arm piece for one of the guys for a year or two, until she had been trained enough to be able to stand on her own. Instead they threw her into the ring as quickly as possible in a popcorn match in which the biggest pop ended up being for Shelly Martinez's ass in a thong. It took Kelly years to get seasoned enough that she could put together a decent package in the ring, and by that time the enthusiasm on both sides seemed to be waning out. To me it felt a lot like the John Cena "monster run," another case of Vince McMahon shoving someone into our faces and saying "take it and like it dammit!" I got the impression that Vince and Johnny Ace basically looked at Kelly and immediately thought "She's gonna be the new Trish!" before they had even heard what she was like on the stick. All that said, I wish Kelly best of luck in the rest of her modelling career and I hope next time WWE will try signing a woman who can actually wrestle.

I'm a little confused about the premise of the thread. If you visit wrestling sites regularly they're always talking about appearances she's making or posting pictures from her photoshoots.
The one I'm surprised has gone off the radar is Melina. I've maybe read 2 or 3 updates about her since she left, when I thought she was gonna be all over the place.
Beth Phoenix is also a quiet one, but she still pops up in stories about Edge.
