Hmm I got to catch up then Know they were teasing Aiesha, Rocky and Adam being unhappy on how they are treated. That Beyond The Grid storyline really f***ed them over. Boring arc, artwork itself wasn't as crisp either, just a real slow down turn from the hot Shattered Grid story I read up through Shattered Grid, and I gotta say that whatever was going on in the very next storyline, I think it was written by the DC Bombshells writer, was so boring that I stopped reading. I think Andros from Space and Cam from Ninja Storm was there, and like, some made up ranger? Gotta say, I don't care about these writers' original characters. There was a ton of Rangers there Andros (PRIS), Tonya (Zeo), Mike (PRLG), Kimberly (Drakkon Timeline), Cam (PRNS), Heckyl (Dino Charge) are the ones who kept some of their powers and the new Ranger was Ellarien who was the Solar Ranger It was just boring because it was a lot of dialogue and they threw characters at us we didn't get time with outside of Kim. Some of the original characters are hit and miss. Drakkon was a hit but they can't use him for a long time. Kim's ex boyfriend Matthew is meh, Ellarien was boring and I do like Grace in her role as the first Red Ranger who team ended in tragedy. Give me more stuff to show how Evil Rita is like how she betrayed her Mothers spirit.

I think the thing that I did enjoy from the Post-Shattered Grid story was seeing some of the past rangers, and seeing Heckyl and dark Kim try to redeem themselves for their past misdeeds. Wasn't perfect but I appreciated there being a bit more room for the characters to breath and interact, felt that was missing from a lot of Shattered Grid. Been broke though and couldn't afford to keep, so I need to catch up eventually. Last I read Jason, Zach, and Trini came back to help out in a battle.

For as better as Beast Morphers is I am interested in the hopeful next series they adapt because Beast Morphers still has that Neo Saban stench on it and we wont really get to see what a full season with Hasbro looks like untill after Beast Morphers again hopefully.

They got to add something to the story but the rest of it just felt like dead air since you had a bunch of characters in a tiny space but no one really got to stand out. It just wasn't as interesting as it could have been especially since everything got "erased" so they are the only ones who knows the true story per se Yeah, the last I read was Jason, Zach and Trini being the Omega rangers. The backstory is in Go Go so I got to catch up on both

Are they not running this Ranger Slayer and Lord Drakkon universe stuff into the ground?
Make a comic about Lothor going to Vegas with Goldar and Rito or something.

Really goes back to MMPR being long exhausted and seeing as everyone that has a license to do something with Power Rangers only does stuff with MMPR and people are just growing done with it.
IDK how many times it can be said they really need to start showing love to other teams because the gawd damn franchise is wayy more than MMPR.

The History of Power Rangers series done by Lewis Lovhaug talked about why this could be during one of the reviews (I believe it was Zeo one that's on YouTube...may have been MMPR Season 2 though): it's pop-culture osmosis. However popular something is at a point, only certain parts of it will stick around the general culture sphere. The examples given were Darth Vader compared to Asaaj Ventress in Star Wars and Captain Kirk compared to Captain Archer in Star Trek. So in this case, because of just how popular Power Rangers was during the Mighty Morphin' days, there are people that may not even be aware there wasn't anything past that, even with Turbo having a movie (which was when Power Rangers was starting a ratings decline). As for Ranger Slayer...being an outsider to the comics at the moment, I will say this: while it does make sense that they use Kimberly due to her connection (however loose in that universe) to Tommy, I would have thought it be more interesting to flesh out one of the lesser focused on rangers of that era. ...I would think Trini, but that depends on if you can get past the idea of an Asian decent character being evil (and she already had the baggage of being Asian and being the Yellow Ranger in the U.S.).

Spoiler alert, Kim isn't evil and Trini wouldn't have teamed up with Drakkon for reasons I won't spoil Trini does get a lot of focus in the main comic but the alternate storyline or future timeline with Drakkon, she was minimal tho won't spoiler the rest since you haven't read

DAMN IT was about to post that *shakes fist* lo
They wasted no time in announcing the Ryusoulger adaption which means PR is not cancelled.
Been enjoying ryusoulger so being able to jump right into the adaption as the sentai is coming to an end here in 2 episodes is great

Would love if the all Dino team up is what directly leads into Ryusoulger because that would be the best synergy that the series has had in a long time.

I have just realised something; Sentai has been going since 1975 and, obviously, they used Sentai stuff for Power Rangers in the 1990s; but why didn't they go and just do it sooner? It's not like the 1970s wouldn't have accepted a Sentai English dub, hell, wasn't the 1970s the era of those kung fu movies that, when dubbed into English, the actors' mouth movements wouldn't match up to what the dub was?

There was the Dynaman dub, but that only lasted a few episodes and was somewhat a comedy dub. Saban had tried for a while to pitch the idea that would become Power Rangers, using footage from the Sentai series Bioman, but most that he showed it to thought it was horrible. It was only when a Fox executive was looking for a new program to bring in after Ninja Turtles was a success that the idea of such a show was accepted, and by that time Zyuranger was the most recent completed series (guessing Dairanger, the series where the White Ranger and the season 2 Zords came from, had just started.).

I am glad they adapted Zyuranger as the first Rangers because watching them try to lighten up JetMan would have been downright depressing more than even JetMan is originally.

They also kinda lucked out in dinosaurs being made cool due to Jurassic Park in theatres Summer 1993, with Mighty Morphin opening early Sept. 1993.
