I demand a return to grey and blue.
That being said, I'm cautiously optimistic.

"No Batman villains" certainly keeps it a Superman movie.
Though I'm sure they'll use that budget to add more JLAers at this point.

That combination doesn't really make much sense/say anything, Ben's just tacking off the "fanboys like these versions" thing.

I think he's trying (with extreme pandering) to say Batman's gonna have Iron Man-esque shit in order to keep up with Superman. But maybe it's not pandering. I mean, he is (was?) friends with Kevin Smith. Guy's gotta be a least a little bit of a dork.

Oh I know that's the connection, but it just seems pretty tenuous; and like you said, I can't imagine him playing Bruce THAT old. I could be wrong. And yeah Ben has nerd cred, hell he wrote the foreword to Smith's DD run trade.

No Batman villains? That sounds like a pretty good further indication that they just panicked and threw Batman into their sequel plans when Man of Steel had the massive drop in attendance.

The panic started after The Avengers' opening weekend. I think there was a report about Warner wanting a JLA movie rushed into production that same week.

With all the Justice League people announced for this, I still think they are trolling people and Superman vs Batman will be announced as 'Justice League' at a DC panel at Comic-Con

They should compromise and put Bats in blue/greyish armor. I don't think an Adam West style spandex suit will work in a Snyder superhero movie.

I do hope they rename the movie. I think Zack Snyder's underrated and I enjoyed Man of Steel but Batman vs. Superman sounds gimmicky as all hell.

They got these scoops from Batman on Film, and that website was wrong as hell with it's news for The Dark Knight. Grain of salt on this one.

I wasn't aware of that website until a couple of years ago and even then it was ridiculous trying to get signed on to that message board.

I wasn't aware of that website until a couple of years ago and even then it was ridiculous trying to get signed on to that message board. - Joker was going be fron Texas - Joker's scars would be the result of Batman thwarting a zipline getaway at the bank - There was a scene showing Joker through the eyes of someone on Crane's fear toxin, and that he looked like the art in the Arkham graphic novel - Batman would be ditching the rubber armor look - Fully renovated Batcave complete with massive computer terminal So yeah, I buy nothing he says. Zack Snyder already showed the Batsuit to Kevin Smith, who said it was almost a spitting image of Jim Lee's New 52 costume. He quickly had to remove that comment when Warner asked him to. That futuristic Bat-armor crap is way off the mark.

Really hope not as stated that takes away the entire mythological side of the DCU.
I can understand not wanting to go for the original made of clay thing for Wonder Woman's origin... but they could just as easily use her new origin of Daughter of Zeus.
This does seem to be pure speculation based on nothing though... like when people were saying Krypton wouldn't explode in Man of Steel.
