Could this be the 2010s equivalent of what J.J. Abrams wanted to do with Lex Luthor, and the backlash therein?

Man, while I love MoS, I understand the valid criticisms, but WOW would Abrams version have sucked.

I dont think I have ever heard what Abrams wanted to do? www.aintitcool.com/node/13350EDIT: Some of the content actually made it to SReturns and MOS. For one, I am glad that they did the "Supes hears everything" spot from the Abrams script in SR. This was one good idea he had at least. Second, the "Krypton = Naboo" thing, well, Krypton looked like a Star Wars planet in MOS. And destruction on par with 9/11? MOS again!

The more I think on this the more I'm sure that this is just the Batman on film guy pulling shit out of his ass.
Especially since he phrased it with a I'd bet statement
not "Diana will be a kryptonian stranded on earth."
But I bet they will tie her into that.
I can just as easily say I'll bet they'll reveal Batman's father made all of his money selling Kryptonian technology.
Either could happen, more than likely neither will.
Especially if they actually want to make a JLA movie like the Avengers they'd want someway to tie it in with Mythology like Thor, and Wonder Woman's the only real in they have.

Won't Batman just bust out the Bat Kryptonian Repellant Spray and win VIA countout?

Now see, that at least makes more sense than them just cramming everyone in one movie. I'm more intrigued now.

Have they still not agreed to call the movie "World's Finest" yet?
I mean, come on.

I can't help but be pessimistic about this considering DCs non-Batman movie track record so far. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed Man of Steel but the folks in charge of the DC films just don't seem to "get it."

Seriously though, who is really playing Lex Luthor?

I like it. It's not too often we get to see a younger Luthor, and Eisenberg knows how to play someone diabolical.

Is it possible that somebody said, "Get me Heisenberg!" and somebody misheard them?

Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor? Was Michael Cera busy?

To be fair, in my opinion, Jeremy Irons as Alfred is pretty terrible as well.

I like the Luthor casting. He's a good actor.
