He's not a heel, but he is being sidetracked. Even if he joins the Wyatts for the sole purpose of turning on them and eventually overcoming them, it doesn't matter, because that's not the storyline he should be part of. It's like watching Star Wars and seeing Luke divert into a subplot where he has to overcome the local bullies at Anchorhead who have been messing with him. Good for him....but the Empire is still alive and well.

That's disappointing. I was hoping he'd become the Wyatt families gimp.
Bray: "Erik... bring out the gimp." Erik Rowan: "But the gimp's sleeping." Bray: "Then you'll just have to wake him up." *Rowan brings out a big wooden crate, unlocks it and out jumps Bryan in a gimp suit*

I don't think the Wyatts are a cult, but just a group of bluecollar mechanics.
They'll kidnap you, brainwash you, probably sodomise you, and they'll also do an oil change, check your tyre pressure, and repair any cracks in your windshield.

Temporary or not, I refunded my flight to New Orleans, my hotel reservations, and my WM tickets largely because of it. Granted, it would have put me in a lot of debt to go, so canceling was not that hard of a choice. Honestly this is as stupid as DDP stalking a women who was not even as hot as his actual wife I'm was gonna say that if a Wrestling trip was going to put you in a lot of debt, you shouldn't be going anyway.

Yeah, if the financial situation isn't great, and you're not feeling the angles going in, it's probably the best move in the long run. However in better situations, I can't imagine many people doing that.

I do like that Bray is wearing the apron. Wasn't he wearing the same thing at house shows right before/after they debuted, when he was wearing the nose guard due to an injury?

The hysteria over an angle that's been built up all of five minutes on the closing segment of Monday Night Raw, and now this, is funny to me. Even moreso for an angle, that's likely to end by the end of the month.

Another pic: {Spoiler} Eh, it looks pretty dumb. He'd look better in Harper-ish gear, rather than the jumpsuit. Maybe it's a ranking thing, jumpsuit is the starting attire for Wyatt-dom. Harper got to upgrade to a stained wifebeater (how charming that a style of undershirt is named after domestic violence), Bryan's got to earn his way out of the janitor attire.

This is absolutely hilarious. Goes in the category of red hot faces getting stupid heel turns ala Rikishi, Ahmed Johnson, Ryback etc. no, this goes in the category of faces stupidly teasing joining their enemies and turning on them, like Cena and Nexus and Punk and the New Blood The only time it's actually entertaining is when it's instantly revealed as a ploy. DDP and Sting teasing joining the nWo and attacking as soon as people's backs were turned. The New Age Outlaws with the Corporation , the Dudleyz with Right to Censor New Breed, not New Blood. Disagree on the not entertaining thing. Chavo made it work great in WCW when he was forced to side with Eddie and made the most of it by going balls-out insane. I also liked how Rey Mysterio was the only LWO member who refused to back down from the NWO and disband even though he was only a member due to losing to them.

But this angle has me so disinterested, that I have no desire to spend that much money.

WWE better know what they're doing. Either he becomes more sympathetic or he's seen as simply pathetic.

I honestly think it's just so he can be the mirror of Rowan. Rowan is meant to be a representation of the monster that Bryan could become, a mindless sheep controlled by the whispers of a demon. Eventually Bryan will have to face what he's become/becoming and reject it. It has to be intentional for them to bother with it, other wise they'd be lazy and just have him wear his usual attire and a sheep mask from the merch stand.

It's winter, all they're really trying to do is make sure everyone's radiator is up to par. A cracked head gasket is no laughing matter.

I can just imagine the symbolic gesture of defiance where he rips off his Wyattire and reveals his true colors, much to the adoration of the fans.

I heard he came out to his actual theme and he's not exactly playing it up like this is going to be something he's doing for a while. Body language is everything.
Once again, I don't have faith that this'll have a good ending, but it won't ruin Daniel Bryan. Hell, I'd be more concerned for the Wyatts than Bryan.

You know it all smarks bother me, WWE knows what their doing, The payoff here is clearly Bryan unifying the belts at WM while chanting YES over the bloodied and beaten bodies of The Wyatt Family and Triple H, All while CM Punk, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and a returning Kasius Ohno hoist him on their shoulders waving a giant "ROH Reunited" flag.

Undertaker vs Daniel Bryan with a catch - Bryan looks like a janitor.
