This angle is beneath Bryan, and it's way too soon for the Wyatt Family to be pushed as hard as they are. They're pretty low on strong heels though. It's basically Orton and The Shield. There's Lesnar but he's special attraction guy who works 3 times a year. And there's Del Rio who's out with a concussion and had zero heat anyway, so him even being in the conversation shows you how dire the heel side is right now. This angle really legitimizes the Wyatts, Bray in particular, as top heels. I get that you'd probably rather see others move up the card before the newbies, but it's all in who WWE sees potential in. I love the Wyatt Family so I'm good with it, personally. WWE is low on strong heels because they short sightedly turned a bunch of them face within a short time frame. It's not that I think this guy or that guy should be pushed ahead of the Wyatts. It's that I feel that it would be more beneficial to a lot more wrestlers if the Wyatts worked their way up the card and actually worked with some of those underutilized guys. If some other talents are given a small elevation to step up to the Wyatts and they put on a solid feud with great matches, everyone benefits. This just drags Bryan down. Why should Bryan have to soil his hands? Shoving every new person into the upper tier like this is exactly why we have such a top heavy roster and a poor midcard.

Why should Bryan have to soil his hands? Shoving every new person into the upper tier like this is exactly why we have such a top heavy roster and a poor midcard. They're not doing it with everyone though. Over the last 2 years we've had quite a few debuts, and it's really The Shield and The Wyatts that came in doing gangbusters. Ryback (they did push him but The Shield pretty much got over at his expense), Sandow, Tensai, Fandango, Big E Langston, Xavier Woods, Curtis Axel, these guys are firmly in the midcard along with the likes of Miz, Kofi, Sin Cara, Ziggler, etc. The top heavy roster is more a result of a lot of older former main eventers like Show/Henry/Rey/Kane still being around and quite over, and the existence of the World Heavyweight Championship which kind of made a top-heavy roster a necessity. Now that it's gone things will shake out better. The Wyatts are really over and they have the kind of gimmick that lends itself to them being a big deal. The "Eater of Worlds" ain't exactly aiming for the middle. Plus they obviously love Wyatt's promo ability and the production values they can utlize with such a gimmick. They'd be fine in the midcard, but if something's hot and got a ton of potential, you've got to run with it.

Honestly, I'm a bit torn on the angle overall. As far as what's actually going on, I think it's very intriguing and could end up leading to some great stuff. However, this angle may also mean that Bryan may still be in the middle of this angle around Wrestlemania, and that worries me. In my opinion, any Mania ending that isn't Bryan reigning supreme over The Authority is just a complete waste. And the pace this angle is going right now is making me think the ending I want won't happen.

I'm somewhere in between wait/see and wasting time. I really wanted Daniel Bryan to win this whole authority angle. If they want him out of the title picture for now, why not have him feud with HHH? He doesn't deserve to be a lackey, but I can't predict how this ends up, maybe it leads to better things, but I have doubts

Wait to see how it will play out - the very fact this thread exists suggests it may be doing its job.
I'd like to see Authority vs rebels lead to three matches at Mania...
Wrestlemania WWE Champ John Cena vs Daniel Bryan (w) - Bryan wins the Rumble after he and the Wyatts team up to destroy competition - he eventually turns on them, ripping off boiler suit to a crescendo of 'yes'es when he and Bray are the final two - Bryan reveals alliance was just a plan to win the Rumble - Cena wins title from Orton at Rumble after HHH's interference is sabotaged by CM Punk - Cena then refuses Authority's offer of help as they doubted his abilities to beat Bryan - Daniel Bryan wins the title clean
CM Punk (w) vs HHH - natural feud after Punk stopped HHH from interfering in the Orton/Cena Rumble match
Batista/Big Show vs Kane/Bray Wyatt w/Harper and Rowan (w) - After the Rumble, Authority force Bryan to defend his #1 contendership - Elimination Chamber: Bryan vs Bray Wyatt vs Luke Harper vs Eric Rowan vs Kane vs Batista - Authority expected HHH's Evolution pal Batista to team with Authority/Wyatts - but Batista but he goes rogue, destroying and eliminating Kane, Rowan + Harper - finally beaten by Bray Wyatt, who in turn loses the final fall to Bryan - leads to the guys who rejected Authority (Batista/Show) team up against Authority's hired goons at Mania

It's just Vince's way of giving DB some meaningless midcard angle to get the fans to stop chanting for him all the time and remove him from the title picture despite being massively over.
The part-timers are here to take over the top of the card for Mania season. I'm shocked that some of you still think this'll lead to a title match for DB at Mania. It's just not happening anymore.

I think it's a huge waste of time. I personally think the Wyatt's are garbage and not entertaining in the slightest. They are wasting Bryan on them instead of being where he should be. It's things like this that makes me hate WWE's creative team for not giving their customers what they want. Nothing good is going to come from this in my opinion. If Bryan splits from the group...they may be relevant for a month or so but after that they'll be right back where they came from.
Doing absolutely nothing.
As always this is just my opinion here. If you like the Wyatt's more power to you but I think they suck.

Literally NOTHING's happened yet except Bryan has pledged allegiance and everyone's already like "OMG EVERYTHING'S RUINED FOREVER"
AT LEAST give it more than the starting segment to make judgement about it
