Their match was kind of slow tonight IMO, but Reigns has a lot of time to improve. Do you think this will be the Main Event for Wrestlemania 31? I think it would be a good way for Punk to finally have his Wrestlemania Main Event and pass the torch to Reigns.

No, they won't waste a Roman Reigns Wrestlemania main event match on CM Punk.

If the past few years have shown anything, the Mania 31 main event's probably going to be Cena / Triple H or something.

Only if Punk becomes a super heel and has massive heat on him. So the answer is no.

No. They wouldn't give away a straight up Mania main event so close to that show. Pick two top guys who haven't had a one on one match in the past couple months or so and you'll likely come up with a better prediction. It's why I don't see Bryan/Orton main eventing either.

Considering the fact that neither one of them are named John Cena, no.

Punk's been hyping up Ambrose in most of his interviews and Q&As I've noticed so I doubt it will be Reigns. A few nights ago I was watch every Punk Q&A panel at Comic Con and I swear Ambrose came up in every one, even these magazine interviews it's crazy. If he's going to pass the torch it will likely be to Ambrose. I mean, I can see Punk vs Reigns late next year at a PPV, maybe a Summerslam at most but not a Wrestlemania. That's a bit too big and if Punk's not getting a send-off there's no need.

I think Punk is main eventing this years Wrestlemania. Plus Money in the Bank 2011 was nearly 3 years ago and didn't the NEWZ reports say he signed a 3 year contract? I'd imagine WWE is doing everything to please Punk so he signs another extension

Plus at this rate. WM31 main event is going to be like a fatal four way match between Cena/Brock Lesnar/HHH/Batista and the preshow for the United States Championship is Ryback/The Miz/Daniel Bryan/Roman Reigns

It's time for people to recognize that Reigns isn't ready for a singles push quite yet.
I'm not saying you need to be a workrate machine for a singles push but...he really needs work.
Yeah I know, HE HAS SUCH PRESENCE ETC...he needs work.

Wow, people severely overrate reigns around these boards. He'll be a main eventer if he keeps his shit together (I'm neutral on him, personally). The WWE tends to tip their hand on who they want to elevate, not necessarily whether the fans want them to main event or not. Orton, Batista and Cena went through ups and downs in the first year or so, but once they fine tuned their personas, they stuck a rocket ship right between their legs and shoot them bastards right to the tippy top.

I don't see why not, but it's hard to know what the landscape will look like by that point.

Wow, people severely overrate reigns around these boards. If anything WWE itself is over-rating him. They're pretty obviously going to strap a rocket to his back this year, and he'll likely be main eventing as a babyface by the end of summer. Whether he works out as a main eventer or not, remains to be seen. But I'm very skeptical. WWE needs "new blood" in the main event, and he's got the size and look that Vince McMahon, Trips, and Kevin Dunn go gaga for. But I really haven't been impressed with him, compared to Rollins and Ambrose (who I expect to flounder in the midcard after the Shield splits).

I think Reigns should win the US title in a triple threat match with the Shield at WM 30 first, then see how he does then to determine what he does at WM 31.
