It took me a few pictures on twitter to fall in love with Audrey. God, I wish I had a time machine.

I'm not voting. I can't be impartial. I'm from a generation of idiotic teens quoting Marilyn like some god like figure.
They're both gorgeous but I'm not hardcore enough for that.

Before I even clicked, I knew Audrey Hepburn would be in the lead. Not saying she doesn't deserve it but because Marilyn gets more exposure-particularly on the net.

Hepburn.
Honestly, I'm tired of Monroe being this misguided role model for some women out there

Hepburn. If I had a phone booth, I'd go back to the 50s... Actually, that might be a terrible idea for me.
If she had a time machine and could jump forward in time to now, I'd give her the best 15 seconds of my life. Because that's all the time she'd give me to say "uh... uh... You're pretty." then I'd run away giggling like a schoolgirl.

Both Gorgeous, I write in Jayne Mansfield, not just because she bore a beautiful actress in her own right, Mariska Hargitay, but she had a gorgeous figure

Count me in with the Hepburn camp. When I was younger (around 9 or 10 years old), I was staying at my grandparents' house and one of our local channels showed older movies on Sunday afternoons. Roman Holiday was on one afternoon and even at my young age, I remember being mesmerized by how beautiful Audrey Hepburn was. I can't really say she was my first celebrity crush (that distinction goes to Ami Foster from Punky Brewster) but I knew Audrey was beautiful.

So, where would Ann-Margret rank between the two?

Another write-in vote: Betty Grable.
I really must start watching Hepburn movies. I think my friend kind of looks like her.

This is all I have to add to the conversation, which is what I think every time I hear Marilyn's name:

No way. I also wonder if the lack of MM love is because she is with Lucy and Elvis as the token classic entertainers that are everywhere, while others are not mentioned. I like some of the more obscure ones better (the aforementioned Jean and Betty), but I do like Marilyn, both with looks and her work. Another write-in: Mitzi Gaynor.

Audrey, easily. Marilyn's more fascinating than attractive, to me.

Hepburn.
But oddly enough both of them got it on with JFK.
