I was hoping they were going to play the Lamb Lies Down on Broadway or at least The classic of 1973 set of Watcher of the Skies/Dancing with the Moonlit Knight/I Know What I Like (In your Wardrobe)/ The Musical Box/ Supper's Ready.

A big improvement over last week's clusterf***. Except for the main event, I enjoyed the show. We got some good matches through out the whole thing. Since tna is lacking faces in the main event scene, I assume this is what is going on with Joe.
I hated the interruptions in Sting's match, but at least unlike AJ, he had something resembling a match.

At least there ws wrestling in this episode and no 29 minute opening promo. TNA continues to ruin the X-Division title with this yo-yoing of the belt between Fail Sabin and A-Double, and I still have to idea what the point of Velvet in all of this has been. They're still dragging this Abyss/Joseph Park bit out instead of going Old yeller on it, and Bromance/Mans is almost at the Conway pop level.
James Storm and Gunner is like being in hospital and having an enema. There going to shove it up there, whether you want it or not, and no one whats it.

James Storm and Gunner is like being in hospital and having an enema. There going to shove it up there, whether you want it or not, and no one whats it. I didn't see the show yet, but TNA's handling of the X-Division belt has me thinking a certain way that I didn't think I would before: it may be better for the X-title to bounce around frequently. Normally I'm a fan of longer title reigns. I don't mind hotshotting if there's a solid storyline reason to do it (hell, for the era it was in, people could've looked at the 1989 Flair/Steamboat series as hotshotting the NWA title). But now that the X-Division belt basically serves as a Feast or Fired/Money in the Bank briefcase, and not as a marker of who's truly the best "X-Style" wrestler in the business, I wouldn't mind it if they made it like the TV title: that it has to be defended frequently, and due to that higher level of variance champions rarely hold it for too long. Frankly, the whole X-Division concept needs to be scaled back. It kind of worked in the early days of TNA, when you had older heavyweights from WWF, WCW, and ECW around, and a whole new generation of indy talent being signed up behind them, to distinguish the two, but now those young indy guys ARE the main featured wrestlers, many of whom pursue the World Title anyway. It's why I wasn't against them making it more of a Cruiserweight belt - anything to distinguish the purpose of the strap.

I honestly think they should get rid of the X-Division title, or at least rename it so the stigma of it being a "cruiserweight" belt is gone. From a kayfabe standpoint, Aries has already stated in promos that he only wants the belt due to the guaranteed world title shot it leads to at Destination X, so just rename the title to something else (TV title works) and let every weight class have a shot at it.

I wouldn't call it the TV Title because they already have (Had?) A TV Title.... and that title was treated like a joke.

Sting's bald spot has never looked so big.. and it looked big last week... Sting looks like a clown with that giant bald spot. His current hair style does not do him any favours. He needs to buzz it, shave it get a transplant or something else. Maybe he can grow his hair out like HBK and cover it with a ponytail, but that would be the least dignified solution.

With how small the TNA roster is these days, I don't think a secondary singles title is necessary. Just have World, Tag-Team, and Knockouts.

Will Magnus get face reactions in the UK in the next few weeks? No doubt, IMO. Just being the first British star to win a World Heavyweight Title (and before anything throws a fit, we're dealing with TNA fans at a TNA show so it counts) and that they billed him as recently as last night as proudly representing the UK, I see no way around it. It is that, that has me thinking we're getting Magnus/Gunner at their next Spike Used To Be a PPV Special, Against All Odds while in the UK. It'll let them do a world title feud without sacraficing an actually loved face like Joe or Angle to a crowd that will boo the hell out them. Sometime after that, they'll announce Joe/Magnus for Lockdown.

Dixie Carter looking fine tonight. Lately, Dixie has been looking great! Last week, it was the jeans. This week, the tight sweater. I wonder what she will wear next week!

I can feel the buyrates plummeting with f***ing Gunner in a high profile match.

After reading some opinions from you all I'm glad to hear this week was better than last week. I'm going to tune in next week because I love the UK shows and I'm excited that the Mystery Investor is going to be revealed so soon (I was expecting a long drawn out story line) and I think TNA is going to put their best foot forward for this one.

I have no desire to see Gunner in such a prominent position on the card (or any position for that matter) but if they're dead set on him having a title shot I'd rather he be the one sacrificed in front of the British crowd allowing us to enjoy what should be a pretty sweet match at Lockdown between Magnus and Joe.
