I'm surprised that is the extent of Bowman's injuries, it looked like his leg was torn off.

Has to just slap his name and that second-rate brand on anything and everything. Hey now... Dre Beats may be really overpriced and a bit overrated but they're solid headphones. I don't really see why he had to apologize.

I don't really see why he had to apologize. I don't think he needed to apologize, but I think it shows the level of respect that he has for his teammates, that he's now willing to admit that his post-game rant and altercation with Michael Crabtree took the spotlight off of the Seattle Seahawks NFC Championship Game victory and put it squarely on himself. Between this and his MMQB response, it shows that he understands what he did took away from the team's efforts on some level, and he's now doing what he can to rectify that, to establish that it was a team effort and that his team comes before his individual accolades. Between this and what he wrote this morning, I'm now comfortable enough to say what comes most naturally to me: F*** Peyton, f*** Welker, f*** the Broncos. Go Seahawks.

I also appreciate him putting the spotlight back on his teammates. At least he's taking some personal responsibility and not blaming anyone and everyone else like other players might have.

Unless someone steps up, the NFL will make 1 of these 8 teams your HBO's Hard Knocks team for 2014: Bears Bills Cardinals Giants Jaguars Raiders Rams Steelers More on DeadspinI'd pick the Bears.

I'd cross off the jaguars and giants because a) the jaguars are the jaguars, and b) I doubt Tom Coughlin would want any part of that

I wouldn't go as far as to say "f*** Peyton" since he seems like a decent enough guy, but that was a classy move of Sherman even though I don't think there was anything wrong with his trash talk in of itself. I don't have a real horse in the race since the Rams are shit and the Chiefs are out, so I guess go Seahawks. Actually no- my horse in the race is for Bruno to put on a good halftime show, since I'm a fan and sports crowds are always tough.

As a Green Bay fan I'm supposed to hate the Seahawks because of the Fail Mary. But I can't because 1. It really wasn't their fault, any other team would of done what they did in the immediate aftermath (Say it was a textbook TD). 2. Sherman is an amazing heel, and 3. Russell Wilson comes from my area, I have a buddy who actually picked him off in high school. It's going to be a great game either way, between the best QB and the best corner in the league. According to NFL on Fox's twitter, since Sherman came into the league he has been: • 1st in picks (20) • 1st in passes defensed (61) • Opp QB Rtg when targeted 39.4 (1st)

Can't see why that'd change for this year. Show seems like it's nothing but trouble for the team involved.

Bruce Arians himself refused to be a part of Hard Knocks and was against the idea of every team doing it.

If no team volunteers, the NFL will choose one of them and they must be on the show.

I have something of a soft spot for the Jags, so I'd like to see them get the show.
