I feel if someone doesn't like the content on the site, they can still say so in such a way as to try to remain within the confines of the quoted.

Aye. I fully understand that. I'm just trying to ask for a little calm.

Calm down guys or this thread will disappear like the 'What do you like/dislike about the FAN' thread. So that's why my post count dropped by 1 over night...

First, mad drama.
Second, never knew there was a main site, I come to the forum to read wrestling news, opinions, it's the only forum on the net I visit let alone post on because it's usually pretty chilled out and NOT TOO SERIOUS.

if you don't like the site that's cool...but some people seem to be actively avoiding it. That's kind of weird huh? Not really that weird depending on when they joined the forum. I joined when it was still Wrestlecrap, and I read that site. I stayed with this forum because it seemed the more laid back and fun forum of the two. I don't really visit that many pop culture sites like I used to, and I actually stopped reading Wrestlecrap as well. Still like the forum though.

I've encountered some "You aren't Wrestlecrap? Well you guys suck!" before. Like, "That was fun but I did a thing about Kenan and Kel. That could be fun too."

Nope, never really checked it out after we first switched over from Wrestlecrap.
Based on what I saw, it featured a lot of articles about older TV shows, anime, MLP and things of that nature. None of those things really draw my interest, so I never really saw the need to fully explore the site.
I can't really give much in the way of constructive criticism either, since I honestly probably won't look into the site anymore than I already have. I don't have much time for internet browsing as I used to, so I tend to stick to just the forum, sporting news and the occasional Cracked article.

Man, this thread is kind of mean-spirited.
I don't really check the site often myself (There are some good pieces though), but I do want to throw some feedback out there while this subject is up. Before adding new writers or topics, the layout/design is absolutely the #1 thing that needs to be changed. Looks are everything, and even if this is a "fan" site or something you guys do for fun, it has to look aesthetically appealing and some degree of cool. Aesthetic appeal makes it look more professional and serious (even if it's not), which is a good thing for reeling in new readers. It looks really clunky and GeoCities-ish as it stands now. More cachet means more readers and, in turn, more of an authoritative voice.
Question: Anyone get paid for these stories? Is anyone making any money off this at all? Just wondering.

Everytime I click on the banner by accident, I see ponies, Power Rangers and Animes, so yeah, I'm not going there on purpose, it's clearly the source of all that is evil in the world. I see no mention of "Family Guy" or post-movie Spongebob. Your post is BS. But in all seriousness, I've checked the main site every once in a while, but I don't go out of my way to do it. I think it's fine that we're more of a variety-type site instead of just straight up wrestling. Otherwise every article would just be talking about how much Cena sucks and is keeping other talent from rising, how great CM Punk is, how much of a Goddess AJ Lee is, and how Daniel Bryan is a buried undercarder... Or at least that's how I think some people want the main site to be like.
