Basketball. Big in US and worldwide. Hockey would be the second pick. Baseball and football not so much. Also Big Dave would obviously be the starting power forward. /basketball & Batista basketball isn't big at all in the UK, the biggest of our teams literally play in the equivalent of school gyms. can't say about the rest of the non US world though. The local level of competition doesn't really matter when NBA frequently visits London and UK for games. Basketball is big for two reasons, NBA in US & around the world, and in other countries (/UK) because of their of history of the sport. It's basically sport #2 in most big European countries (or near the #2 spot) and it's spreading globally to places like China or Japan or wherever NBA goes for exhibitions. Even if it's not as big in UK, that's still one country left dry if you compare it to baseball or football which are low ranked sport in a lot of countries.

3MB should wear sports jersey's of the the jobber teams and continue to lose
They should wear Cleveland Brown jersey's, Chicago Cub jersey's, Edmonton Oiler jersey's, Charlotte Bobcat jersey's, etc.

The issue with this is that the sports that are big in America are different to the sports the rest of the world enjoy. so the gimmick would be lost on a large portion of the audience. So the option is either alienate your home countries audience or the other option is alienate the rest of the entire world. When will non-Americans get that the WWE is an American company, catering to American audiences and will continue to cater to the American audience? The debate occurs all the time, and I don't get it. I don't mean to be mean, but it gets to me that non-Americans think that an American company shouldn't be so...American. Oh I'm sorry, I thought they were a worldwide company. Maybe they should cancel their international tv contracts, stop touring abroad and only hire American wrestlers.

They're clearly an American company, to argue otherwise is to ignore years of clear jingoistic writing, gimmicks, hell even the video package they did of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
