They can always debut him the night after Mania.

I am really hoping this Sting stuff is true this time...If he isnt mixed in with Undertaker I have no idea what he could accomplish in WWE. It'd be cool to have him around but the only match I really have any interest in seeing him in, is Vs. Undertaker.
Would be cool for him to have a little WWE Run tho for a year or so, with a light schedule(ppv's, occasional raws, etc.)

His pop may be hurt by the fact that most newer fans probably know of Sting but have no idea what his entrance music was/is. A cool thing to do would be to kill the lights, then without music put STING up on the torn. let the crowd go nuts. then hit the music.

I think as many have said, they would need to do it in either a wcw stronghold or a town that are more likely to know who he is when he debuted to maximise the reaction.
What is interesting to me is what WWE would do with him from there. I do not really see Sting coming in just to take a Tombstone at mania then leave, so I wonder if a year run leading up to the Taker match might be the way to go (if he had it in him). That way you could get him over with the newer fans who have no idea who he is and those of us who do would get a year of Sting.
I would like to see him feud against the Wyatts. Bray v Sting and cena v taker at mania 30 I would much prefer than Sting v Taker and Cena v Bray. No idea when they would be planning on bringing Sting in if he did sign, but I would presume it would be with mania in mind.

Stop grasping at straws FANites. He's not coming to WWE. Him losing at Genesis is a work.
Sting vs Undertaker is maybe something I wouldn't mind seeing 10 years ago, but now no thanks. UT is to the point where he needs a talented younger guy to make him look good, the guy is old and broken down.

I would bring in Sting by bringing in Ric Flair to work an angle with a young arrogant, heel on the roster. The feud leads to a tag team match. Flair reveals Sting as his tag team partner. Everyone in attendence vigorously shake their heads no and gives the "no good" hand signal NFL refs give after an incomplete pass or a failed scoring attempt. As if to say "We all know this ends up with Sting being betrayed". In fact, even the kids who are way to young to know who Sting is do this as well, because even they can see that Sting is being set up.

Sting is a wrestling legend, don't be surprised if the pop is insane if he actually does come to WWE, I know I won't be. People don't give kids enough credit, I know when I was 8 I was trying to watch as much wrestling as possible, which included renting old videos of whatever I can find. I know if the lights went out and people are expecting Taker, but instead hear the Crow Sting music, the place will explode. That would also be anywhere in the USA due to how momentous of an occasion it is to see Sting finally in a WWE ring.

If he showed up out of the blue, I don't think the initial reaction would be that big if only due to the fact you'd really probably have no idea right off the bat whose theme it was plus if they did anything too showy with it people might think it's Taker who for whatever reason tends to not really get his big pop until he actually walks out. If they hyped it up a few weeks in advance though, showed some hype videos for it, it'd probably be huge.

I just watched the Sting V. Magnus match from last week. Wasn't to different then Sting's late WWE stuff. Only things I found disturbing were the fact that Sting was bald and the t-shirt. I have no doubt that WWE's costume/ make up people will cover that up with some rogaine, black hair dye, and probably have him wear a suit close to Starcade '97.

Who is this "Sting" you all speak of, don't you mean "a man called real estate steve"?

Considering the decent but not gigantic pop the Ultimate Warrior video seemed to get from the live crowd a couple weeks ago, a Sting appearance would be along the lines of a Ricky Stemaboat cameo.

It depends on the crowd of course but I can't see him getting that big a pop. His prime was almost 20 years ago.

Sting's gonna show up and right as he starts to talk, Flair's music hits and Flair comes out. Flair announces that Sting is going into the HOF and wants to induct him. The night comes as Flair and the Horsemen attack Sting. The next night, Flair says that the beatdown was a joke, and he'll induct him next year without a beatdown. The induction happens in 2015, but when they introduce the new class at Mania, the Horsemen beat Sting down. Why? They said they wouldn't attack him at the ceremony, but they didn't say anything about WrestleMania.
