NFL Media analyst Daniel Jeremiah said "don't be surprised if the Patriots take a RB in the first round. Maybe Carlos Hyde." Sure, why not? They have voids at tight end, defensive end, linebacker, and safety, so why not use a first-round pick on a position of little significance on a player who'd be third on the depth chart?

Profootballtalk reports the Raiders will try and trade Terrelle Pryor by Monday. Yup putting all are eggs In schuab seems like a GRRRRREEEAAAT idea I don't think this move has anything to do with Schaub, it has to do with them drafting a qb in the first round. it also gets rid of the "Tebow" or "Jimmer" distraction where fans clamor for a player to get minutes even though the franchise knows they aren't interested in playing a guy with sub par professional abilities.

NFL.com's Gil Brandt believes SMU QB Garrett Gilbert will go between the late third round and early Day 3.

As much as I like to watch it, I couldn't imagine going to sit through an actual draft. It's even ridiculous to watch for me. Thankfully there's a lot to do at the draft. You can see the Lombardi trophy with all the rings, you can have your picture taken with cheerleaders from the Eagles and Jets, get autographs from former and current NY players (last year I got one from Wayne Cherbet), and a lot more. Plus since I'm getting VIP tickets, it means free food and drinks all day.

He was a rookie 3rd round pick that only started because the head coach had it out for the starter, there is no way he could have been ready for game.

Alright, I know I said this in the NCAAF thread, but I thought I'd put it here as well.
I made a bet with ICBM that if Johnny Manziel goes in the first round, I will buy his jersey of whatever team picks him.
My only exceptions are the Jets, the Steelers, and Ravens. Why? Because f*** those guys, that's why.

Right now, I'm either seeing him go to the Browns or to the Cardinals, based on the mock drafts I've seen.

Some not so horrible news from the 49ers. The sod is almost done.

Good he's not nearly worth the kind of money he wants.

Good he's not nearly worth the kind of money he wants. Well, they definitely don't want to waste any money on an Aaron Hernandez situation.

I would have zero issues paying him if he actually won something for us, but over 18 million a year to throw errant passes when it matters the most is ridiculous.
The play at the end of the Superbowl was awful and he did the same damn thing at the end of the NFC title game this year. 18 mill a year is way too much money for a guy who locks in on his first read.

He made bad decisions, but he wasn't the only one. I swear Harbaugh gets to a point where he out-thinks himself. On both of those occasions, Harbaugh should have called for Kaepernick to run (hell in the Super Bowl, he had 4 downs and didn't have Kap run), Kaepernick was tearing up both defenses with his legs. The Niners still had time in the NFC Championship, and the Seahawks didn't have an answer for Kaepernick running. Seattle was expecting the pass, that moment was screaming for Kaepernick to roll out, run with the ball gaining 15 yards, and stepping out of bounds.
