I want that to be edited into a feature length movie. I'd watch the hell out of it. ...f*** it. Know what? I wish Smackdown was entirely like this. Throw in a few matches, and since nobody cares about Smackdown anyway, make it funny at least. The continuity nods are hilarious and I find myself more invested in the search for the golden boot than any serious plot the WWE throws in.
...Or make this the new Saturday Morning Slam. Either/or.

Holy crap, that episode was comedy gold. Please let them do a story like this on RAW and Smackdown!.

I've advocated this idea for a while. Just try it out and see what happens.

Aksana should keep on being the continuity police.
Then she tries to do it to Kane, but stares blankly into the distance and walks off shaking her head.

"Watch out, Dennis, he's gone mad!" "My name's not Dennis." "Ok." ........so simple, yet so brilliant.

I love how this has essentially become The Cody Rhodes and Bad News Barrett Show, with JBL and Cole occasionally contributing. Best part of my Friday (well, besides the work week ending and all).

I'm hoping that Heath Slater has the boot, but they still don't acknowledge that Clem Layfield is clearly Heath Slater.

I had never seen the Rhodes Scholars parody of Tons of Funk, so for that alone, this episode was awesome.

Decided to give this show a look finally, and wound up marathoning it. I'll be watching it like a hawk from here on out.

I don't understand why it is so hard for WWE writers to funny stuff on TV when all they have to do is make a carbon copy of this show.

I watched the first two of these when it first started and it was just like a sort of chat show with references to sports that I didn't understand so I stopped watching. When did it become a story like this?
Also, I know that "this is a subpoena" is the correct legal way to present that document.

When did it become a story like this? Also, I know that "this is a subpoena" is the correct legal way to present that document. It was about half way into the show's run when the Superstar Search kicked off when it started to develop much more of a personality. Then Cody and JBL had their duel and it started to go towards where it is now. It's quite frankly bizarre because, like you said, it was a completely different show back when it started yet there were hints of where it'd end up and where the humour would go in those earlier episodes.

"Well, Nikki or Brie...." And now I'm on the Bad News Bandwagon. "We'll take it if you can tell us apart because there is a distinct difference between us" *Barrett looks at them confused* "Our earlobes!" "Ooooh yeaaaah!"

"WHAT ABOUT THE MUSTACHE?" "THE BAD NEWS NIKKI OR BRIE..." "There's a HUGE difference between us." "..." "OUR EARLOBES!" "Oh yeah I see that" Holy shit this entire thing is quotable. I don't understand why it is so hard for WWE writers to funny stuff on TV when all they have to do is make a carbon copy of this show. I imagine they don't have to get Vince to approve their stuff for this. The WWE probably likes to go for lowest-common denominator jokes, which is...well, poop jokes and stuff. Here they can just go crazy.
