I caught two Jynx, one for me, and one for my friend because she loves cute Pokemon and would presumably like a Jinx or Smoochum. That said, Jinx looks slightly odd, and that is even for her. I think her eyes look slightly small, compared to what I would figure. Yeah, Jynx made for a weird switch to 3D. Some Pokemon did that, though most look either about like you'd expect or better. Like Druddigon, I always thought it looked completely stupid but it actually does manage to look kind of badass in X and Y. Same goes for me and Sawk and Throh, who both look much nicer in 3D.

Welp, I got a 6IV Chatot out of nowhere. This is my 2nd perfect pokemon without even trying. Now I have to go back to White 2 and give a Beedrill ALL the best tutor moves, then move it to my Y, and THEN breed those moves onto a Karrablast.
Damn chain breeding is now going between GAMES for me....

I get that they do this for balance reasons, but I f***ing hate how there is so little in the way of move tutor moves in this game. I hope that the inevitable Pokemon Z really pulls out the stops with that, and in a way that doesn't demand tons of shards or the like.

Ever since they made Ice Beam, Flamethrower, and Thunderbolt tutor moves in Crystal they seem to think in every generation they have to completely strip out the move tutors (outside of the Draco Meteor, starter, and legendary ones) just to put them back in later. Plus side, I am glad they had the sense to make Dark Pulse a TM again. Dropping it in Gen 5 was pretty damn stupid.

I think they want to be very careful of what moves they give certain pokemon access to, worrying about breaking them. That being the case, I am surprised they didn't remove Moody as an ability entirely, because it is VERY broken, particularly on Octillery, given its movepool to abuse it.

That being said, come Z or whatever the next game is, Togekiss had better be able to learn Moonblast.

Just hatched a Shiny Swarm Karrablast with Drill Run, Megahorn, and Knock Off (gotta love my Shiny Charm)....let's see what IVs he has... YES! 5IV HOLY SHIT. asffshsrhgesrghwerfwe EDIT: Here it is. Now to figure out my favorite Gen VI Pokemon...is it Aurorus? Slurpuff? Avalugg? If it's Avalugg, I already have an IV bred/EV Trained one ready for battle. OH, and I just ran into a Shiny Gligar while EV training attack for my Growlite, Trapinch, and Karrablast. Had to deliberately faint them before I captured it to avoid Defensive EVs. DAMN YOU SHINY CHARM.

DAMN YOU SHINY CHARM. EV training this way isn't necessary, right? I can just Super Train and get the same results if I want to, correct?

DAMN YOU SHINY CHARM. EV training this way isn't necessary, right? I can just Super Train and get the same results if I want to, correct? It depends on if you're patient or not. At most, Super Training gets you 12 per go. I've done super training if I'm only training 1 pokemon and I'm not in a hurry. Also it's good for getting small amounts if the EV spread isn't just 252/252/4 However, Let's use my Karrablast for an example on this...it has Pokerus (x2) and is holding a Power Item (+4 before multipliers). So battling a horde of Weepinbell or Arbok nets me 2 Attack EVs each or 10. With a move like Earthquake or Surf I can get 10 each battle quicker than Super Training in hard levels. Add in the Power Item and Pokerus and my Karrablast gets (((2+4)*2)*5) EVs, which is 60 EVs for one battle. Which let's me max it out in 5 sweet scent hordes. For more common 1 EV pokemon, it's 50 EVs per battle, too.

*snore* This series has too much math. That's good to know, though. I'll have to consider it in the future.

*snore* This series has too much math. That's good to know, though. I'll have to consider it in the future. You don't even need to do the math, with Sweet Scent/Honey alone, horde EV training is still faster I believe, if only because Super Training takes time to get good enough to complete the hardest levels quickly. (Although I will say once you speed through the hardest level, you get those +12 punching bags really easily). This is what I use for EVs (without any added on maths or pokerus) HP: Route 5 Gulpin Hordes (5 per battle) Attack: Route 19 Weepinbell/Arbok Hordes (10 per battle) Defense: Terminus Cave Geodude/Durant Hordes (5 or 10 per battle) Sp.A: Frost Cavern Vanillite/Smoochum Hordes (5 per battle) Sp.D: Route 7 Hoppip Hordes (5 per battle) Speed: Route 8 Wingull/Taillow Hordes (5 per battle)

I stick to super training because I do focus on one pokemon at the time. But you don't even need to go beyond level 1. I just use Mewtwo to get training bags in balloon fights that last maybe 4 seconds, and have who I'm training use the bags. Once its maxed, I'll take the trained pokemon through the gauntlet so he can be "supremely" trained. I mean you can get 12 pt "L" bags on any level, so there is no point going beyond the first level. until its time to finish up. Thats just how I prefer to do it though. People should do what they are most comfortable with.

I also use Super Training. Typically, I'll do 6 Lv' 1s, hit he bags, 6 Lvl 2s, hit the bags, then 6 Lvl 3s, hit the bags and finish up with however many Lvl 3s it takes.

So on my route to breed a preferred 5IV Torchic, I end up hatching two 6IV Torchic back to back, both with speed boost. Now I'm wondering what I should do with the second one.
And I'm still trying to learn this EV training stuff.

I'd offer to trade for it, but I don't have anything worth giving in return.

The result of all the work and dedication. Yeah I had some help, but gave plenty of it myself. As for Phione, I guess he doesn't really count, but what the hell! Now back to breeding and training, this Friday I'm going to go check out my towns official Pokemon league. It is actually official too, I found it on the pokemon site. Probably be fun.

That also confirms those pictures of Volcanion, Hoopa, the unused Vivillon forms, AZ's Floette, Mega Latios, and Mega Latias then. Incidentally, kind of genius of them to hide Dianci's design in plain sight. Diantha looks just like it. Unrelated, I've been breeding for a shiny Goomy. Probably take all of the extras I get out of it and dump them into Wonder Trade whenever I restart X, or something.

OK so as I said, got a 2ds & X, so my other friend code is 3239-4330-4977, will be going on both games randomly (Y on 3ds and X on 2ds.) So will be adding everyone's codes again later.
I think x will be my mainly restarted game post completion.
