Edit: I just realised there is cussing. Doh! PM me for the link if you want it. I never knew Stevie was in WcW. Interesting video. Nice background music. Edit: Edit: As an apology, I present...Freddy Krueger "crashes the party" youtube.com/watch?v=1rhXCmPwImg

"Why don't you go and ask one of the Mexicans what their favorite movie is, Tenay?" When did Stevie say that?

That was an awesome video, I never saw him with that karate (?) gimmick in ECW.....
What DVD is that from?

It's from The Rise and Fall of ECW, disc 2.
That Karate gimmick needs to be brought back.

Stevie was Raven's whipping boy in WCW.

I was a HUGE Stevie Mark at the time and swore up and down that he was the future of the industry. It's a shame that I was wrong. I remember the one singles match he had on WCW Saturday Night and then he was gone.

I still don't understand why we can't post videos with swearing in them. But I loved Stevie in WCW.
Which leads to this question inspired by wcwmadman:
Did WCW misuse Stevie Richards?

And he really should've become something bigger than "main eventer of Sunday Night Heat." *sigh*

I was watching a tape earlier from a Nitro in 97 where Stevie Richards was set to face Damien, and as Damien went to the ring Raven jumped him and DDTed him on the floor, putting him unconscious.
Richards, the doofus that he is, tries to revive him instead of going for the pin, even doing mouth-to-mouth on him, till Raven slaps him in the face and tells him to get the easy win.
Too bad it didn't last longer.

I just remembered that Stevie actually had a hilarious column in WCW Magazine that was brilliant writing. During one installment, he claimed Glacier had stolen his Stevie Kick and changed it into the Icicle(Cryonic) Kick. Great, great stuff.

Did WCW misuse Stevie Richards? He wasn't around long enough to misuse. Now the E, on the other hand, have dropped the ball several times. He's got to be doing fine in the wallet department. I hope he bails soon and goes someplace that knows what they're doing.

He had match with Raven at, I think, Clash Of The Champions. Yeah, I watched this live and was furious that Stevie got zero offense in and was jobbed out easily. Stevie has DEFINITELY been misused in WWE. I've thought several times he was on the verge of a push, but, no. Even in ECW he can't get a break, he should be headlining.
