Another F1 switcheroo among the lower teams... Alexander Rossi will make his race debut for Marussia in place of Max Chilton at Belgium. I'm too lazy to look it up, but are Chilton and Kobayashi done with their respective teams or are they just giving these young guys a try-out to perhaps secure a seat for next season? Chilton has contractual issues according to his camp. Kobayashi is giving up his seat for at least one race because Caterham's in desperate need of money. Lotterer has Audi in his pockets.

I think it's more to do with the income the drivers bring more then anything. In terms of whether they are done with their teams I know Max is going to be in Belgium with Marussia in a non driving role so he still seems on good terms, not sure about Koby though. In other news the worst kept secret in Nascar has been announced: Carl Edwards joins Gibbs in car #19, sponsored by Arris.

Chilton will be racing after all... he apparently got his issues worked out.

A little thing happened at about lap 10 in the F1 race. I'll spoiler the rest for those watching it later. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}I know it is a dangerous situation, but I literally laughed a drink out my nose watching a long piece of a rope like debris getting wrapped around Rossberg's antenna and waving in his face.

Also, I'm glad that it's Ricciardo that's winning the races for RBR and not Vettel. Anyways, is anybody watching the Indycar race at Sonomo? Interesting start to say the least.

Just watched it now, was pulling for Conway at the end but Dixon put on a clinic with fuel saving, once again. Conway gets to the finish line on fumes and Dixon only pit a lap after him. Crazy last lap overall anyway.

Sucks, because I'm sort of a closet Graham Rahal fan and I always like to see him do well. Anyways, we're heading into the season finale. My prediction is that Will Power finally gets his Indycar championship. I don't think he'll win in Fontana, but he'll finish in the top 5, securing his spot.

Stewart's back? Oh, boy. I have a bad feeling about this.
I don't know how the NASCAR fans feel about him coming back. I'm not expecting him to get the Kyle Busch treatment, but I thought he'd not race again until 2015.

It was announced that even though he did not attempt to qualify for the last 2 races, Stewart can still make the Chase, provided he wins 1 of the last 2.

Holy freaking crap I'm just glad that Mikhail walked away with a few broken ribs, clavicle, and a bad concussion and not something much worse. That crash was nuts. It really sucks to see his season end this way since I like him and it looked like he was getting stronger as the season progressed.

I hope Power finally wins it this time... I'm not sure if he can handle losing the title on the last day of the season again.
I believe 6th place is the absolute minimum he needs to win it, and that's if Castroneves gets absolute maximum points. Castroneves needs to finish 4th or higher to be in with a shot. Pagenaud? Needs any and every miracle he can find.

After the first round of pit stops, Montoya is laying down an ass kicking on most everyone. A few seconds ahead of Dixon in 2nd.

Midway through the race, top ten:
Hunter-Reay Montoya Castroneves Kanaan Dixon Hinchcliffe Newgarden Kimball Power Muñoz
Pagenaud out of championship contention with handling issues all night putting him several laps down.

Anyone else watching the IndyCar finale? I've got the IMS Radio commentary going while I browse around the place.
