After making a bunch of CAWs across multiple games over the past week, I've noticed that wrestling games almost all universally violate my biggest pet peeve. The names of moves with multiple animations is always the name of the move plus a number. As someone who spends a great deal of time in real life getting upset at people for making non-descriptive file names, seeing "Taunt 70" instead of "multiple chest slaps" and "Chokeslam 3" instead of "faster chokeslam" always has me cursing at my screen. Unless its some obscure, outlandish move that I haven't heard of, I'd like to know what it is instead of having to watch the animation.
Seriously, though. The day I own my own game studio - a legitimate goal of mine, not just a hypothetical - I'm hiring a guy who monitors file names of every script, art asset, audio file, and whatever else and ensures that it follows my structure: Unique names for variations, numbers for iterations. There will be no "Chokeslam 3" unless they've changed the chokeslam animation significantly twice, in which case 3 is the one going in the game unless they change it again.

I respect that it's a pet peeve, but I find it a damn sight easier that they're grouped by (name)(number) so I know where to go straight away rather than say going "fast chokeslam" > "high chokeslam" etc.

I like that they are grouped that way because since the list is in aphabetical order I know that if I want to give him a DDT or a chokeslam I can find it in the D or C section and choose from the different types. As opposed to how it currently is for Piledrivers which if you look for under P gives no results. Taunts I will agree with if they are labeled as just "Taunt" but if they're labeled by a the person that actually does them I have no problem... like Flair 3 I know is going to be a woo, the strut, or the flop.

Maybe the naming convention for moves should be Powerbomb (Jumping sitout) or something of that nature. I just hate numbers. I don't like having to watch almost every animation in the game.

I'm with you. Better descriptions would save time. I can't believe the Usos aren't in the game. What possible reason could there be for this? They were DLC last year and have been a consistent fixture in WWE the whole time.

The numbers don't bother me but if it were between naming it sitout powerbomb and powerbomb (sit out) I would much prefer the latter.

I've been waiting longer for a Kennel from Hell. It could actually be a decent match in video game form.

Put in 2k14 for the first time in months. Froze twice through one week of universe mode. Back on the shelf. Maybe amazon.
I worked long and hard on my CAW and tweaking universe mode and I can't even play it.

But first and formost they need to get Sting's rights for that to happen, and the window to do so is getting smaller and smaller each day

The thing about making a Punjabi Prison match work is the door gimmick. How would you open the door? How would the other player be able to stop you? What if you just want to do that one spot from the match where Khali bashed the door over Batista?

Ok so after having this game for 4 days, I got a corrupted save game message. I did some research and I guess I'm supposed to turn auto save off? Never had this problem before and pretty pissed off since I put so much work into organizing everything like making teams and fixing moves. Does turning off autosave make things safer?
Also, what's with the difficulty? Normal is pathetically easy, Hard is ridiculously hard and seems to be no different than legend.

Weird I've never had a problem with autosave... maybe I'm lucky...
Did it freeze or something when saving a caw? My friend had that happen and all he had to do to fix it was delete the caw he was working on.

Had an interesting thing happen recently. Whenever I start a match between two CAWs, the match starts with Lawler doing a soundbite about how wonderful Triple H is. Not sure if it's a glitch or a WWE edict. "If you're not going to play as our wrestlers, you're going to be told Triple H is great, and you'll like it!"

It's a glitch every once and a while it seems like a caw gets assigned a real wrestler for the opening commentary line... For instance Lawler has decided one of my CAWS is really Chris Jericho... One of my friend's people have them talking about how frightening the Undertaker is. I wonder if it has something to do with the superstar heads, since Taker, Jericho and Triple H are all people you can use.

I was doing a Batista/Goldberg match, and Lawler was rambling on about Mr. Perfect. I don't even have his DLC.

Well "Mr. Perfect" isn't DLC he's in the base game as a manager... but still.
Unless they were referring to him as Curt Hennig and they may have just reused the manager commentary for that

They were clearly discussing strategies for wrestling against him. I don't know why that'd be in the game if it was for the manager.
