Christian is a better face wrestler. Christian is a better heel character. Take your pick on what you prefer, because unfortunately we can't have both. I'll take heel, because the gap between his face and heel wrestling ability is much smaller. Even as a whiny wussy heel, at least he does something to engage the crowd besides clapping. I wish they'd book him as an effective heel, not necessarily badass but not "kick me in the balls so I can please win" weak. Like a heel Chris Jericho, before he started losing to people like Heatlh Slater and Evan Bourne.

And to elaborate, Christian as a face isn't cutting it because he's a small fish in a gigantic pool. He's never going to get any focus as a face especially since the company is prepping Cesaro and Reigns for big things.

Everyone booed him rather quickly so it wasn't that forced. As a face he's white bread anyway.

Christian never should have turned face when returning in 2012. His 2011 heel turn was great and led to an awesome feud. Had Christian stayed heel, he could've feuded with Sheamus for the world title instead of Del Rio (which is automatically better), maybe even feud again with Orton, then maybe have him win the World Title or something and feud with a face Ziggler a bit, then come back in 2014 to the Chamber as a truly established star, as it's almost baffling as to why he's in it anyways. Yeah, heel Christian is good, but this seems like too little, too late. Heel Christian could've easily been established in 3 years, but instead they got scared and turned him face... even when apparently WWE hates Christian.

I think it was just for this match. They're having him face Sheamus at SD as a result of him getting accidentally brogue kicked last week, so he'll definitely be playing the heel in that too.

Christian has been spinning wheels as a face for awhile now, he's so much better as a heel.

I'm all for Christian as a heel if they actually invest in him as a character. I don't mean he has to walk out of Elimination Chamber as the Champion but just give him some focus. Whenever they've given Christian the chance I feel like he's taken the ball and run with it. But since his feud with Orton and subsequently Sheamus I think his combined promo time must be less than 45 minutes.
I love Christian and even when he's essentially character-less and just putting on good matches he's still one of the main guys I watch the product for but give him some semblance of a character and allow himself to get over again. He's always been able to in the past so let him do it again. As I stated earlier I don't mean he needs to be a top star but just give him something to work with.
What upset me about this turn wasn't how forced it was it was how little attention was given to it. I mean Titus O'Neil's heel turn was made to seem like a bigger deal than Christian's. And that just makes me sad.

Well, it's not like they were gonna do anything with him as a face anyways. I mean, what were they gonna do? Make him win the title to a chorus of cheers, then lose it two days later for no reason?
Oh wait....

He needs to be a cool heel. Not a heel who insults his fanbase.

I don't think anything's coming of it. They just need to have another heel in the chamber, since they're teasing Cesaro turning face and they want someone other than Orton and Cena who will get boos in the match.

I think calling this a heel turn is jumping the gun a bit.... This was said a lot when Punk GTS'd Rock, and when Ryback attacked Cena.

Maybe if he is a heel the announcers will stop burying him, calling him ugly, calling him a loser, and generally going WHO CARES anytime he is on the screen.

I think that pretty much happened last night. As I recall, JBL became an instant fan, dropping the, "DAMN HE UGLY!" aspect of his commentary entirely. EDIT: Granted, I tend to tune JBL, King and Cole out, so I may have missed the cheap-shot.

Christian is just not registering to me at all now. He's gone from one of my favourites to 'oh is he still employed?' I don't think he's done anything of note since the Orton feud.

I actually loved Christian as a heel. It just feel right to me. Yes, he was very bland as Mr Nice. At least he is watchable now as a heel. I think he should join the Authoritay permanently.
