Phew....the Bro-Mans were the worst tag team champions in TNA history and now that reign is dead. Worse than Pac-Man Jones and Ron Killings? Worse than them because at least Ron Killings was good.

Phew....the Bro-Mans were the worst tag team champions in TNA history and now that reign is dead. They were infinitely better than Storm and Gunner or Chavo and Hernandez. At least the BroMans gave us entertaining television. No....they are not.

I just checked and yes, yes they were. The Bro-Mans are insufferable with their schtick and don't wrestle well to warrant the annoying stuff. I may hate Chavo's talking, but the guy could still work in the ring. I may find Gunner to have no personality, but he does seem to be a decent wrestler. James Storm is awesome as always. Hernandez....yeah, he sucks. But its better to find at least some good in a team than find absolutely nothing in the several month reign that happened with the Bro-Mans.

I think the Gunner/Storm reign sucked more because Storm was hurt for like the whole thing so they barely even appeared on tv.
Chavo/Hernandez was hilariously bad just because they were like the least over team out of every team on the roster.
But the answer for worst tag champs is Mexican America. Hernandez has sucked since LAX broke up, but man they had Anarquia as a champ aka "Not Chavo"

How they explain this on the next two shows (taped a month ago) will be interesting, unless they drop the titles before then.

I think they were pressured into doing it to meet an agreement with Wrestle-1. They agreed to do a tag champions v. tag champions match and either Bromans couldn't work the show of Mutoh didn't want them for the show. It would have been better if they did the change the titles in London for TV instead of announcing they won the belts on TV, but still have Bromans with the titles.

I think it's more that Muta wants to put on the best possible show. The Sumo Hall is an important location in Japanese wrestling and he wants to put on as good a card as possible. TNA probably told him that The Wolves & Bad Influence will work the show with one of them being tag champs. Plus I think that Muta would have been more forgiving of this if TNA hadn't umm'ed and ahh'ed over whether Russo was back or not.

I like The Bromance, not their fault they've been used too much as whipping-boys or that the tag-division has been relegated to an afterthought. Hopefully the Wolves getting the belts means they have plans for the division again.

Oh for sure it was, and with Muta getting so many big sponsors for Wrestle-1 the expectation is for it to be a big promotion real quick. And as I said, I think the Bro Mans have been fine as a team (Robbie has always entertained me, and Jesse has slowly but surely improved), but they aren't ready for a Japanese style match and it would be a disaster while Eddie and Davey both have done multiple tours over there. Also, sounds like it was more a misunderstanding than TNA lying to Muta as I remember the original play (supposedly) was for one of TNA's titles to change hand on the show.

On the one hand, horray for house show changes. On the other hand, the video makes it appear as if there were about 24 people in attendance.

It really doesn't look like that to me, it looks as if they've got a couple hundred in there tops. Though I have to admit a lot of them don't seem very enthusiastic over the Wolves victory, which is a shame.

I hope this leads to some title defenses against Bad Influence, and wish the MCMG and Generation ME were back to also compete against them.

I'm happy the Wolves beat the jabronis. Now, TNA, do something with them and the other tag teams left. The Bro Mans held the title for months floating on and their biggest feuds was with a comedy duo (EY and Park) and the JOB Squad 2.0(Fernum and Barnes).

They should bring in some International teams for short term runs and Indy teams for one shots to have good matches and help put the Wolves over. TNA's tag division is so depleted that they need to come up with some other challengers for sure.
