Speaking of the Tonight Show clips being cut, do they also edit out the NWO Nightcap segments where he reuses Leno's jokes word-for-word? No, they only edit music by the band and the footage from Leno's show. Bischoff's routines have been left intact. WWE did remove the Nightcap segments altogether on the WWE Classics On Demand airings, though.

Here are some edits to the Aug. 20, 1998 edition of Thunder.
- After the recap of an angle with Saturn and Raven's Flock from WCW Saturday Night, the show goes right to the start of a tag team match featuring them and Kanyon. On the original broadcast, the recap was followed by the entrances of all the guys in the match, then the show went to a commercial before the match started. They did this to remove Raven's entrance due to his music, but since he entered after Saturn and Kanyon, their entrances got cut, too. This causes about 2 minutes of footage to be removed.
- After the match, they cut away to commercial much sooner than on the original broadcast, again due to Raven's music.
- Videos on NWO Hollywood and NWO Wolfpac going to commercial breaks are missing, as is a Warrior promo video at the very end of the show.

We need an retroactive jobber entrance tracker

Didnt they already replace Raven's theme anyway? They play his WWE theme for a few seconds when he wins, then quickly cut away. The Network version is missing around 20 seconds of footage after the match.

The actual 7-4-1981 episode of WWF All-Star Wrestling is now on the Network. When those shows were originally uploaded, they accidentally put up the 7-11 episode twice and labeled one of them as 7-4.

Weird WM4 edit. After the Muraco vs Dino Bravo match there's a Bob Ucker interview with I believe The Honky Tonk Man. Anyways there's fake crowd noise mixed in with this interview.

Does the True Story of Wrestlemania keep the MTV footage (I dont just mean the War to Settle the Score footage, they also had some clips of vj's hyping the WWF and such)?

That's a good question. Are all the WWE documentaries in the Beyond The Ring section complete or do they edit stuff out?

More recent ones, like the 2016 Bischoff and Hall documentaries, are shorter than the WWE Home Video versions by about 30 minutes. To answer wildojinx's question, the 2011 WrestleMania doc has been edited a bit, but it does still have the clip from "The War to Settle the Score" where several writers are discussing wrestling while eating.

I just watched it, and I only heard the fake crowd noise at the very beginning that was mixed with Muraco's dubbed music. It quickly goes away, and there is no fake noise for the rest of the interview. I also noticed that they put "Jive Soul Bro" back into the show. For a few years, they had kept the replacement music from the 2005 WrestleMania Anthology DVD release, but it's gone now.

Nitro 161 (Oct. 12, 1998) should have a recap of the earlier Flair/Bischoff segment and footage of the Horsemen partying in the skybox right before the Nitro Girls routine that precedes the main event. I have no clue why it's missing.

I skimmed through SummerSlam 2013 and found some edits - they cut a National Guard video after the Del Rio/Christian match. - they cut a Total Divas ad that originally aired after a Fandango/Miz segment. Instead the screen fades to black for a second before Natayla's theme plays. - during the Brock/Punk match, there was a moment in the match where Punk is hitting Lesnar with chair shots before looking at the camera and yelling something that included "Motherf***er". originally that was all muted. On the network, they cut to a side shot as Punk starts to yell at the hard camera with nothing being muted. but you can still see him mouthing the words. - they also cut a Night of Champions ad - they cut out the graphic promoting The Christmas Bounty Movie that Miz was starring in when they show some of his co-stars in the crowd

Some inconsistent editing: a UNICEF promo spot with Sarah Jessica Parker is intact on the Oct. 19, 1998 Nitro but is cut on the Oct. 26 episode.

Seriously, he said this. I think it was during the barrage of suplexes.

I'm certain Luna's theme at the Royal Rumble 2000 bikini contest is dubbed but I have no idea why.

I'm certain Luna's theme at the Royal Rumble 2000 bikini contest is dubbed but I have no idea why. For some reason, that's an edit from the 2007 Anthology DVD release that stayed on the Network. The Network version doesn't have the scratch logo blurred and has the original video package at the start of the show (2007 version replaced the IWA Japan footage with WCW and ECW clips), yet that edit to Luna's music remains.

non-edit: Clash of the Champions 31 includes the ads for the Judge Dredd video game and action figures as part of the promotional consideration segment. Especially surprising since the action figure ad features clips from the movie. Speaking of that show, did Alex Wright have theme music on the original broadcast? He just comes down without music at this show.
