Crockett Cup 86 edits (so far): The Shaska Whatley promo has an abrupt edit, he's cutting his promo, there's an edit, and Jimmy Valiant and Manny Fernandez are suddenly at ringside yelling at him and Paul Jones. (not sure if this is an edit). The Road Warriors enter to some weird synth song. Not sure if it's a music edit since it does have lyrics talking about the Road Warriors.

Just watched the 4/30/88 SNME and they edited in Ted DiBiase's theme on his way to the ring vs. Don Muraco, he didn't have theme music until (I think) the following year but it was put in here because Muraco's "Jesus Christ Superstar" theme continued to play while DiBiase made his way down the aisle. It might have been 1990 when he got theme music as I know he didn't come to the ring for theme music for Wrestlemania V, Summerslam, or Survivor Series that year. I believe that song was recorded at Jim Brady Studio's in Tucson because when I interned at this recording studio in Tucson, AZ I had to go to Jim Brady recording studio to basically be the coffee boy while they recorded some tracks and they had a Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase poster on the wall that was autographed and I asked Jim Brady, the owner of the studio why he had that photo and he claimed that song was recorded at his studio there. Anyways I would not be surprised if they did some edits to Rick Rude's entrance. Originally his music was on the network but at some point they made a decision to remove all of his music which is unfortunate because I think his theme song was one of the most memorable ones of the 80's.

Whose recording studio was it, though?

On the Global Warning Event from August 2002 on the Network, they show some of the post-show stuff with Trips/Rock beating up on Paul Heyman, the DVD cuts off right after Rock's win.

Well I knew Iron Man would be unacceptable on the Network. WAIT...is it the song Jimmy Hart wrote when LOD was in Memphis? You know, "There's gonna be a rumble...TONIGHT!" "Cause we're the Warriors...THAT'S RIGHT!" /If James Dean were alive, I know HE'D be there!

Rude's theme is gone because soundalikes are usually no-go's on the Network. See also: DDP's Nirvana ripoff and others. Here, Rude's theme apparently treaded on David Rose's estate (he wrote "The Stripper," which Rude's theme is based on) And I can vouch for Money, Money, Money debuting in 1990. Think it was first heard on the Ultimate Challenge special on the USA Network, before Mania 6...or just before that. Big Bossman's "Hard Times" debuted around the same time. I know because I remember rewinding and replaying DiBiase's and Bossman's entrances over and over just to hear the then-new songs.

I think they dubbed in the newer version. It was hard to tell with Vince and Jesse talking over it, but I thought I heard the "money, money, money" part during some of the DiBiase soundbytes. I believe that's the only difference between the two.

Things I don't like about the Anthology: making that version of DiBiase's theme canon, as well as the Ultimate Warrior theme that just keeps looping the first part of the theme. It actually has a neat different tune as it goes longer, that you rarely heard.

The little text for the November 24th, 1984 Mid-Atlantic mentions "Joe Frazier sending a message to Ric Flair and Dusty Rhodes". But there is no Joe Frazier appearance on the actual show, so it was edited out for some reason.

By Anthology do you mean the version from the WWE Anthology CD or from the Rumble/Mania Anthology DVD sets?

One Night Only 1997 WWE Classics On Demand version: Shawn Michaels's promo before his match with the British Bulldog is joined in progress, skipping the the opening few lines.
One Night Only 1997 WWE Network version: The full promo airs but has clearly been spliced together from different sources. As Michaels is saying the line "you haven't seen the showstopper until the Heartbreak Kid enters the ring," the video clearly goes from the inserted footage back to the original.

Kind of off topic but I believe that Hardcore Heaven 94 was sourced from a WWE Employee or Wrestler or maybe even a fan that had that show. My copy actually looks better than the one that's on the Network and it has the RFvideo outro.

With the news of Superbrawl 5 being fixed, I kinda hope the full version of The Big Event (that aired on Classics On Demand) eventually gets added as well. The Coliseum Video version had a better intro, but also had a ton of matches and content removed.
The COD version is around twice as long as the current 2 hour Network version and begins with a shot of Gorilla and Jimmy Valiant in the press box (as opposed to the Mean Gene narrated intro with the helicopter shot of downtown Toronto and the crowded Exhibition Place).
Of course, if I ran the Network, I'd have both versions available, but the fact they already showed an alternate version of The Big Event on their previous streaming service is all the reason to include it on the Network.

Kind of a non-edit on the 7/2/96 Hardcore TV as Blitzkrieg Bop (I assume it was Pit Bull #2's theme) can still be heard over his dubbed theme.

The Pitbulls actual theme was "Thunderkiss '65" by White Zombie (and also the original theme to Hardcore TV until August 1997). "Blitzkrieg Bop" was often used as background music during the "billboard" segments that WWE edits out of these shows, but I don't know how or why it would have showed up during a wrestler entrance.

A part of ECW Living Dangerously 1998 is shown in a slightly different order.
Live version: After Dreamer/Credible, Joey Styles throws to a recap of the Bigelow/Taz feud. Instead of the video, a plug for the Hardcore Hotline and the ECW merchandise catalog plays. Styles then apologizes for the error and talks about the match some more. The video then plays, and after it, they go to the ring entrances for Bigelow/Taz.
WWE Network version: The video plays the first time Styles throws to it, replacing the airing of the Hotline/merch plug. After the video, they show Styles's second on camera segment, including the apology. Since the video package got moved up, they then go directly from Styles to the ring.
