Oh I hope so. Arkham City's many loose ends have had me anticipating the sequel for what feels like forever. I just want Scarecrow to have his time to show what he's truly capable of.

Maybe they can just pretend like the sucky ending of Arkham City never happened.

Maybe they can just pretend like the sucky ending of Arkham City never happened. And Origins in general. Aside from gameplay issues, the story is very solid in Origins. The only problem is having to deal with certain elements that were already touched on in Arkham Asylum and City. But judging it from a pure story standpoint, it's good.

Where's the Suicide Squad game or DLC, they were building to in Origins? Aside from gameplay issues, the story is very solid in Origins. The only problem is having to deal with certain elements that were already touched on in Arkham Asylum and City. But judging it from a pure story standpoint, it's good. Storyline wise it's awesome. The night starts out as Batman while having been around for a couple of years, is still whispered about, and people think he's just made up, as the night goes along Batman's legend grows, he's being seen as real and a hero, and he's becoming the symbol for Gotham. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}The game starts with Vicki Vale being one of the people you save in the prison, and even she's afraid of you. As the game goes along you invade the police station, and Gordon begins to see you as someone who is helping. There's the fight on the roof of the hotel, where Vicki Vale and the camera crew are there, and it's being seen by Gotham. And of course when Joker has taken over Blackgate, and the desperate call for help from dispatch comes over, where Captain Gordon is calling on anyone, anyone to come help. The game ends with Batman saving everyone in Blackgate, and Gordon realizing that maybe Batman can save Gotham. Storyline wise, it was great to see Batman's legend grow during the night.

I don't get the hate for Origins
To be honest I was disappointed more with the story as I was "Joker again?" but even then it was still ok. Gameplay was decent and I didn't come across any bugs
I mean it wasn't great but was decent

this one f***ing better have Conroy or i'm not playing Conroy would be my preferred option but I thought Roger Craig Smith did a very good job in Origins. As long as the gameplay is up to snuff, I wouldn't mind too much.

Rumor has it that the main villain will be {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}Hush I actually predict him and Scarecrow as a combo. First half of the game is him, second half Scarecrow. Here's what I'm thinking. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}Hush poses as Bruce and ruins his life, cops are after him for the murders in Arkham City and Wayne Enterprises is in jeopardy as the real Bruce has to go into hiding while trying to find Hush and expose him as an imposter. This is where Scarecrow comes in. In the background as all that is happening, he's begun setting his plan of terrorizing Gotham with his new advanced fear toxin. Hush eventually tries for a very public display of "Bruce Wayne" killing someone and before Batman can stop him, he's killed by Scarecrow(thinking he just killed the real Bruce) who knows Batman is Bruce from back at Arkham Asylum.
So the second act is everyone thinking Bruce is dead including Azrael(who will most likely be a playable character) and Scarecrow unleashing terror on Gotham.
Now, I will most definitely get nothing about the actual plot correct. It's just a theory.

Gameplay was decent and I didn't come across any bugs I mean it wasn't great but was decent Origins just felt really, really lazy to me. I've only played it once so maybe I'd like the story a bit more if I gave it another go, but everything from "this gadget is a prototype in a later game but I have it now so there" to "here's a huge, completely uninteresting Gotham for you to explore!" just made it feel like a pointless cash-in.

Gameplay was decent and I didn't come across any bugs I mean it wasn't great but was decent I liked Origins, I haven't beaten it yet... I liked the idea of Black mask and the assassins going after Batman and had one of the best portrayals of Bane in a video game. But the Joker as the main bad guy again really sapped my interest. I wasn't even opposed to Joker showing up since all the hype pointed to him as a secondary character to the story....

I like the Joker in Origins if only for the mirror of Batman's flashback from Asylum.
Once he says "Have you ever had the feeling that your entire life has been building towards this one moment?" And it begins, that's one of my favorite moments in the series by far.

I sure hope it's a sequel. Arkham City kept teasing a sequel with Scarecrow as the main villain and I want that game! Seriously, the amount of potential for a Batman game where you can never tell what's real and what's an hallucination is astonishing.

So I'm thinking this will be called Batman: Arkham Inferno or something of the like with numerous allusions to Dante's Inferno where Batman/Bruce Wayne will be put through stages of hell by whomever the big bad might be this time. I've also read that the poster just might refer to: {Spoiler}{Spoiler}Azrael's prophecy from Arkham City so Azrael might play a very significant role this time around.
