I don't get the hate for Origins To be honest I was disappointed more with the story as I was "Joker again?" but even then it was still ok. Gameplay was decent and I didn't come across any bugs I mean it wasn't great but was decent Even without the bugs, the gameplay is a joke, the thunder gloves make it a cakewalk and the puzzles are pathetic, a two year old could solve it since it usually only requires to spam the batarang.

So I'm thinking this will be called Batman: Arkham Inferno or something of the like with numerous allusions to Dante's Inferno where Batman/Bruce Wayne will be put through stages of hell by whomever the big bad might be this time. I've also read that the poster just might refer to: {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}Azrael's prophecy from Arkham City so Azrael might play a very significant role this time around. Love this idea, each villain could be a stage of hell The First Circle Limbo- Ra's Al Ghoul The Second Circle Lust- Poison Ivy The Third Circle Gluttony- The Penguin The Forth Circle Greed- Two Face The Fifth Circle Anger- Bane The Sixth Circle Hersey- The Scarecrow The Seventh Circle Violence- Victor Zsasz The Eight Circle Fraud- Hush The Ninth Circle Treachery- Anarky This could be changed or what not but that is my general idea

Rocksteady has revealed Batman: Arkham Knight, the next game in the Batman: Arkham series heading to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC later this year.
The game was revealed in a listing on GAME's website and is expected to be formally announced following in today's issue of Game Informer.
According to GAME's listing, Arkham Knight is the "explosive finale" to the Arkham series, and sees return to face "the ultimate threat against the city he is sworn to protect. The Scarecrow returns to unite an impressive roster of super villains, including Penguin, Two-Face and Harley Quinn, to destroy The Dark Knight forever."
The game will also introduce "Rocksteady's uniquely designed version of the Batmobile, which is drivable for the first time in the franchise. The addition of this legendary vehicle, combined with the acclaimed gameplay of the Batman Arkham series, offers gamers the ultimate and complete Batman experience as they tear through the streets and soar across the skyline of the entirety of Gotham City."

Dammit... Guess I'm getting a PS4 sooner than I thought. Scarecrow will finally get his moment to shine and I can't wait.

I had to watch that twice. This is the most I've been excited for a game in over a decade.

Okay, I might need a PS4 now. Hopefully, I should have one by the time of release (if they're going by the annual cycle, this should be out in October)

If it has any sign of Joker or it's another prequel, I'm not getting it. Same approach I took with deciding to skip Origins. Well, that, it having a different developer, and to a degree the fact that the Harley Quinn DLC was a huge disappointment.
Edit: Okay, so it's not a prequel on looking. Still, if they shoehorn Joker in there I'm not getting it.

If it ends up being Joker wearing a Scarecrow mask, I'm laying siege to Rocksteady's offices.

I literally just pre-ordered it for PS4 while picking up Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy.

Honestly, that ultimate threat returns bit makes me immediately think more Joker.
Loved City, liked Origins... so yeah I'm getting this game... I just have to decide how as I don't have a ps4 or an Xbox one... though I could get it for my pc... but the arkham games always felt more like a console game to me.
edit: Conroy is probably Batman, I remember when Origins was getting ready to release he said something about getting ready to record some Batman lines.

Apparently, this is the last game in the Arkham and takes place after City, so hopefully they just leave Joker where he is and let whatever the next game series is bring him back.

So I just watched the trailer and... Thomas Wayne is a dick... he completely left his wife out of his will Also I can definitely see Joker at least showing up as a Scarecrow delusion.

You guys are worried about Scarecrow actually being the Joker, but I bet he's actually going to be Batman. You'll never see it coming.
