Me?
Ric Flair was the man. I mean literally THE MAN. I knew he was good, until I watched some 80s WCW I just didn't realise how good.
NWA-WCW sure knew how to create a legitimate sports feel to it's big shows
Dusty Rhodes was a HELL of a promo. Previously I'd only seen him in WWF.

That there were like 50 wrestlers with cowboy gimmicks in the 80s.

I learned laptops existed in 1990 thanks to the York Foundation. Thought they weren't around till like 2000.

You need to plug your Xbox into the wall first before trying to use it.

If Gorilla Monsoon (who I love) was commentating a WrestleMania, you can bet your ass he's going to call it a 'happening' at least once during the show.

Miss Elizabeth looks-wise still had plenty of gas in the tank even near the end of her WCW days

New Jack only wrestled one match in his ECW career. He did do a lot of run-ins though

This was a reminder more than something I learned, but...
TOO COOL WAS OVER AS F***.
Seriously, I think The Rock was the only guy outpopping them back then.

It reminds me of how Sexay, in freaking 2000, actually bothered to reply to an email I sent him. 13 year old me thought it was like getting a letter from the Pope levels of surreal.

I learned that Steve McMichael is a hall of fame commentatory after watching episode after episode of Raw with Rob Barlett. I look at Mongo in a new light.

In the minis division in the WWF in the late 90s there was a heel bull mini called El Torito.

Speaking of him, I know this might get shit on,but Mongo was better in the ring than I remember. he still wasn't good, but he's not as abysmal as he gets called. Keep him out of the Horsemen and I think he gets less hate.

Successful athlete, arm-candy wife, he seemed just the type of "winner" the Horsemen would pull into their fold, even if he was not polished in the slightest.
