Neil deGrasse Tyson is going to be talking at the college down here and the tickets sold out in an hour. The guy is f***in' over and I'm glad he's getting a main event push with this show.

I will be watching this, the Science channel had the original Cosmos on earlier but Carl's voice put me to sleep.

I'll be watching. It's going to be on 9 channels. Including FOX Sports for some reason. Loved the original. Love Tyson.

It made me miss Bob's Burgers, so it's gone from "What's Cosmos? Oh, ok...not gonna watch but whatever." to "Cosmos can go to hell. Straight to hell!" in my book.

Been a good watch so far though there are moments I feel it's dragging and other moments I feel it is going too fast. The visuals are amazing.

Sorry to say, but it was a really good watch too I'm sure you can find it online though. Don't forsake the Cosmos - we're all in it together fool!

The tribute to Sagan at the end was inspiring, not only for science but just as how to treat each other.

I watched parts of the first episode last night and am catching up on hulu.
Mercury got jobbed out in the intro. Neil refers to a dwarf planet he helped get demoted, but didn't bother mentioning Mercury.

And just remember, kids: you have this man to thank for the Cosmos revival. Yup, Seth MacFarlane - the man who gave us FAMILY GUY - is an EP on Cosmos and is the guy responsible for getting Fox to fund this revival. (I'd have posted an actual pic of Seth MacFarlane, but apparently people still can't identify him in person...?)
