At this point its completely ridiculous.
I despise his matches because I know exactly how its going to end: Christian/JTTS eating his foot.

I think the real question is "why does Christian lose so much?"
Has he won a single match since coming back?

Sheamus is in the position where they don't know what to do with him, but they want him to still be important. So he wins matches that mean nothing.

Sheamus is built to be a credible threat when they need one. He's basically in the Mark Henry zone, though Mark wins less, generally due to cheating of varying degrees. Neither is doing much right now, but WWE wants to keep them under a heat lamp to be served up when needed. He'd probably be feuding with the Wyatts right now if they weren't occupied, because that is usually what faces do when WWE isn't currently sure what to do with you.
(Mark getting f***ed up by Brock doesn't really count, because if you go by that logic, Cena, Triple H, and Punk are also chumps since they got similar treatment, and therein lies the path to silliness. Brock is basically THE monster heel in wrestling right now, so pretty much everyone is booked as being vulnerable against him.)

Because he's basically mid 90s, early DX era Triple H, he's someone management think should main event but isn't really able to build a connection with live audiences to get him to that point on his own no matter what catchphrase they give him, what midcard belt he wears and no matter how often he wins. Hunter had the benefit of several other guys becoming so popular they became legitimate celebrities so he was able to ride their coattails and become known as a guy that feuded with Foley, Austin and the Rock at their peaks, while Sheamus has no such luck... While they've tried transferring other people's heat to him, it hasn't taken so he keeps on winning, waiting for the next big attempt to put him in the main event.

Cause he'll put lice in your hair. Isn't that what his theme song says?

He's strong, fans like him, and he is one of their best wrestlers currently.

Sheamus winning is a good thing. Sometimes, just having some big angry Irishman come out and pound on fools for 5-10 minutes doesn't need anything else added.

Cause he's a guy who's overness is tied directly to how much he wins.
He's like Ryback - if he takes a loss it'll negatively affect his popularity.

I disagree with that just because during the end of 2010 and most of 2011, Sheamus was on a epic losing streak as a heel and the crowd forced him to turn into a face.

Sheamus' booking is weird. he wins all the time but he exists in a vacuum where his feuds are never with anyone important and don't really matter. it's like WWE's afraid to put him with someone else the audience likes again after the 18 seconds fiasco. and there's already too many other main event level faces the crowd wants to see more. I don't know why they don't just turn him heel, it'd give him something to do again and we wouldn't have to see Randy Orton as the only credible main event level heel anymore.

It bothered me a lot when he lost so much as a cowardly heel. He's the f***ing celtic warrior. He should win. Dudes a beast and one of their best in ring talents. I expect him to turn heel when Batista's program with Daniel Bryan is finished for a rehash of their feud for the belt. Maybe even as a Paul hey man guy. Unless they wanna use him against the evil Russian.

That only hurts guys who can't wrestle, like Goldberg or Ultimate Warrior. Sheamus is not limited when it comes to wrestling ability so he can put on exciting match, win or lose. Still, I don't understand why they keep booking the same match, with the same outcome.

I just wish he would go back to torturing Sandow. That never got old. Hell, even if Sandow acknowledged it with "why do you keep coming after me?" and then Sheamus brogue kicks him.
