He pulled her by her f***ing hair through a hole in the cage and cornered her after threatening to commit suicide because she doesn't want to date him after weeks of beating and possibly killing people for talking to her then the motherf***er turns up with a half a mannequin of her. Not even the whole thing, just goddamn half of it. If you think this is gentlemanly behavior, then I'm gonna start a dating class for FANs just as a public service. Hawk, hawk, hawk.... Can't you see that he is the victim in all this? She ran from love. She set the ball in motion.

In fairness, and I hate to be the guy who compares TNA to WWE for no reason, but Shaw is genuinely more likeable than Ryder was when he was whining at Eve to have sex with him. And he's killing motherf***ers. In fairne-... Shit, you're right. I gotta hand it to Shaw turning something that should not work on screen, and is so different than anything he had presented before. And it is one of the best sympathetic villains in wrestling in awhile. Edit: Sympathetic in that he is compelling, and his perspective is readily translated to the rest of us. He is clearly a sociopath and the villain, but he is really, really interesting, even when it goes cartoony. Shaw shows AMAZING physical/ring presence

I just gotta go on record and say that I am legitimately hungry for this angle and it's been A LONG TIME since I could say that in earnest as a fan.
Reason being? I have been Shaw in life. (minus the torso and physical violence) It so resonates with me. if you've never been THAT stuck on a person, you don't know what bonkers is.
I don't care what he does, I am forever in his corner because I "get it."
I just hope they play it out proper. A vaulty expectation for them, I know.
I'm not a wrestling mind by any stretch of the imagination, but they should bring me in for this one specific thing. I could get years out of it.

Because I was told by my last girlfriend that this was creepy and unacceptable. ONCE.

If anything, I do the Candido "no gimmick necessary" thing when clearly a gimmick might help. I'm just some boring... dude; friend to my friends and nobody to everyone else. I could do gloves, but I put out a strange vibe anyways so I don't necessarily feel I want potential dates thinking they might just end up buried under some limestone or something.

Shaw needs to change his ring gear. I get that he is trying to look like the lead character from Dexter, but his outfit just feels out of place in the ring. He can keep it for backstage bits, but he should start wearing tights or trunks for action in the ring. He can even keep the black gloves if he wants.

I don't want to start an argument, but I think Shaw is more like the character from "American Psycho". Dexter was a psychotic vigilante who targeted criminals. That's just my opinion.

A little of both, actually. Definitely elements of Patrick Bateman, but I think his look is meant to be more of a play on Dexter due to the recent relevance.

And while I hate generally doing two posts one right after the other, I would like to refer back to a joke I had made about now TNA should bring back Mickie James in her psycho pesrona and have her start stalking Shaw in a comedic role reversal, and I find myself wondering...what if Shaw did eventually gain female companionship? His whole story with Christy has been pretty well done so far, but what if he eventually got a manager/valet who turns out to be even crazier than he is? Picture: a woman who wears elegant looking gowns and dresses, she seems so beautiful and down to earth that Tenay and Tazz can't help but wonder why this woman would be involved with a sicko like Samuel Shaw? But slowly little hints emerge that the two of them have a...complex relationship. When Shaw gets worn down in the ring he goes over into his corner, she stands up on the apron-and slaps him across the face several times, causing him to grin maniacally and charge back into action. When he celebrates a victory she climbs in the ring to join him, they move in as if they are going to kiss each other-and then he shoves at the back of her head, sending her sprawling on her stomach in front of him, and she proceeds to crawl up his leg and wrap her arms around in his thigh in a classic Conan pose. And the two of them deliver freaky interviews, such as him saying "When I felt you twitch under me as I held you down, I knew it was meant to be!" and her saying "There is nothing more romantic than watching my baby in action as he pummels someone into a bloody, beaten wreck!" Not everyone needs to have a female counterpart, but for Shaw's gimmick it might make a unique twist at some point.

Shaw is such a gentleman, he gave Christy a free haircut! Not to mention he did it right after she physically assaulted him! What a gentleman, a free haircut and he didn't press charges?! Man, Shaw has it all, except the love he so desires.

Maybe this could lead to a double turn where people want to see Shaw win over Hemmy or something.
