Yeah I'm not sure about the whole Aries thing. "Newz" says he was being punished for something? Only people being punished for him not being there are the fans. With Joe, isn't there or wasn't there at one time an issue between himself and Russo at one time. Not saying that's the issue just wondering. I love Aries but he's always had that kind of story following him. It happened in TNA first time round, it happened in ROH and now it's happening in TNA again. At the end of the day, he's one of my favourites and I want to see him wrestle so I hope they sort their issues out and get him back on-screen. I don't know if there's ever been anything personal between Russo and Joe but looking at the way Joe was being booked and how he was completely unmotivated towards the end of the last 'Russo in charge' period it wouldn't surprise me. Russo was still booking when Joe tapped out to MMA Jarrett's ankle lock, right? That's not some shit you just put behind you.

Best two matches were probably Gunner vs Storm & Sanada vs Tigre Uno. Both were good 3/5 to 3.5/5 matches but not mind blowing.

Kinda funny enough, Joe came out and apologized to Russo and called their issues water under the bridge just a few months ago I believe.

Yes, this Crimson and Matt Morgan.

Ah, I hadn't heard about Joe shooting down the injury rumors. Hope whatever his issue was wasn't too hard to deal with, and hope they don't drop the ball with him again once he's back on TV.

Russo was still booking when Joe tapped out to MMA Jarrett's ankle lock, right? That's not some shit you just put behind you. I had and have zero problems with that. Yes, its RIDICULOUS on the surface, but it wasnt nearly as bad as people try to make it out to be. Jarrett jumped Joe backstage before the match and destroyed his leg, the doctors told Joe to go to the hospital but he shoved them away and wrestled anyways. Jarrett works the leg all match long. Joe made Jarrett tap while outside of the ring, then made him tap a second time when Jarrett had his foot under the rope later on. Joe then had the match won AGAIN after a Muscle Buster and Coquina Clutch, but Jarrett's goons ran out. Joe fought the goons off, then Jarrett uses the goes back to the bad leg, grapevining him in an ankle lock. Joe had absurd amounts of protection in that match. You can point to a LOT of things about Russo's run that made Joe look bad, but I completely disagree that this was one of them.

Solid PPV though. Nothing about it was bad aside from the crowd, but the last two matches woke them up.
I *love* heel Angelina, especially her promos, so I'm excited that she won the belt. Gunner vs Storm was really fun - Storm is awesome in that type of setting. Roode and Bully are on another level from everyone else in the company, not only did they liven up one of the worst crowds ever, but they actually managed to have a really nice 1v1 tables match, which is pretty rare. And finally, though Magnus and EY really shouldnt be headlining PPVs, I thought they had a very good match that made both come out looking better than before.
So yea, nothing amazing, but everything was at least pretty good imo.
EDIT: I forgot about Anderson/Shaw. That wasnt good. But I had forgotten about it, so it couldnt have been THAT bad, right? ...right?

OK. I missed the PPV and am only going by what I read. I've read two reports. One calling Dixies run in as being her dressed like "Hipster Spike Dudley" and helping Roode win.
The other claiming Dixie was declared the winner....
Which is it?

She ran in wearing a fake beard and hat and pushed Bubba off the tunrbuckle through a table Roode was declared the winner as per the Commentators

I always have the impression with Aries though that it's based on the work and his use. When he feels like he's not used properly and that what TNA is doing doesn't make sense, he throws fits. And I understand the guy. I mean you can't have a more bunch of clueless clowns as TNA at present time. I probably would be frustrated and mad every day. Especially since you bust your butt and give your all and the bookers fail you constantly. Esp. since Aries is probably Top 3 in their most talented guys and they don't book him as such. Frankly Aries was rather well booked during the Hogan regime. You can say whatever you want about Hogan and Bischoff but they gave Aries the ball. Now as far as this PPV, hopefully all the f***ing feuds are over. This has been the worst bunch of neverending feuds TNA has ever done. And if these were the payoffs, it sucked. But they have to end it.

Judging by this thread, most are saying the pay per view was good, not great.

Only thing I got from this feed is Dave talking about the Ultimate Warrior/Hogan match. At the time it was the live Sacrifice post show. Now it's on the loop of free shows until the next live show.

This afternoon I found the free April 27 Meltzer show but it doesn't seem to be working. It will probably appear on You Tube at some point.

I give it a 7 out of 10. It would've been 8 if Shaw won!

I'd give the show 6/10. I didn't like Shaw/Anderson, thought Angle/Hardy vs. EC III/Spud could have been better and the terrible ref bump and finish just killed Bully/Roode for.
My favorite to least matches is like this:
Gunner vs.Storm Sanada vs/ Tigre uno Wolves vs. Bromen EY vs. Magnus Angle/Hardy vs. EC III/Spud Love vs. Rayne Anderson vs. Shaw Bully vs. Roode
