Corre and Nexus were not a bright spot for the WWE in 2010.
Actually 2010 sucked.

Two weak links of Nexus and the leader...terrible. If they were the weak links, who were the strong ones?

They should have been like "The Corrs" and sung folksy Irish ballads.

The Corre actually started off fairly well, in my opinion. I remember being pumped when Gabriel got a win over Edge and it seemed like they were poised to be a big part of SmackDown. And then they just tumbled further and further down the card, with the 1-2 punch of losing in about 2 minutes at WrestleMania and then serving as Rock and Cena's whipping boys the next night killing them for good.

And don't forget all the in-fighting amongst the members. It could have been worse though. At least they were spared from the New Nexus.

Fun fact: That Justin Gabriel victory was the last time Edge lost a match.

No Zeke in our thoughts either and we're all the better for it.

No Zeke in our thoughts either and we're all the better for it. And yet he is still the last ECW champion, over a hard working over pro who more than earned the title of being able to call himself the final champ :-(

I hear they'll be our end of days.
My favourite moment was when they turned on Big Zeke and finished the beatdown by tipping a laundry hamper on him.

WM 27 and the night after really killed them. It was a chance to show them off, and they just got whooped. I remember being excited when they came out to attack Rock and Cena, and it could've been a huge setup for a tag match down the road. However, when Rock and Cena took them out, I was like, really?

Too bad Dreamer retired after a loss to the HEART AND SOUL SUPERHERO OF ECW, ZACK RYDER.

I always thought their "we have no leader" gimmick was moronic. Yeah, like anyone in the world was buying that Heath Slater was on Wade Barrett's level.

I remember having sort of high hopes for them, at least early on.
Looking back, I'm not really sure what I was thinking.

I always found this to be funny.
It's like they knew they f***ed up with Nexus, so they decided to just try to redo it on a smaller scale in terms of principles within that group.
And then they f***ed that up by jobbing them to Santino and trombonin' Kane.
