It still bothers me that she doesn't use the Guerrero name when everyone knows her parents are Eddie & Vickie. She could never live up to the name, so why burden her with it?

And actually I just like Racquel's whole Lady GaGa gimmick. If ever there was someone who screamed for a wrestling parody, it is her.

I don't know, I didn't know who the hell was on the graphic in the beginning, but when I saw Raquel in more "normal" wear, I thought she should stick to that. I'm not even talking aesthetically completely, it just fits her more.

I think the problem was she didn't have the skill to really "BE" the character. From what I've seen of the gimmick, it always came across as forced.

Yeah, this is how it came across to me at the time. Great idea for a gimmick, but it just didn't click. Was nowhere near as forced as pre-Shield Roman Reigns, though.

Yeah she had developed some eating disorder and had some mental issues to take care of. She returned to NXT late last year. I could swear it was another one who'd left for that reason and that Diaz had another reason entirely for quitting. There were two who left because of eating disorders, Raquel (left WWE then sought treatment, she and Vickie have talked about it online) and Buggy Nova (went to rehab while under contract but left after completing it). Raquel's issues didn't come to light until she talked about going to EDA meetings before returning to NXT. She and Vickie had originally told everyone she left to go back to school (might have I don't know) though.

Uh, because it's actually her name? How would you feel if someone told you that you weren't worthy of the name you were born with because you will never be as good as your parents?

I'm tired of days and months that cause division in society. Yeah, I want international people year so we can be one for a change. The days don't cause division. The days try to combat division. If there wasn't already division we wouldn't need them at all. I am not sure the best way to make men respect women's issues and bring people together are days/months that talk about one section of humanity. Women are awesome month doesn't make me care about women anymore, it just makes me feel like I committed original sin being born with testicles.

You really have a lot to learn about feminism, and an outlook that's either not cynical enough or too cynical. I can't decide which. Either way we'll be told by the mods to knock this discussion off so let's get back on topic eh?

That's taking the leap of logic that she was told she wouldn't be using the name. It could be a case of she chose not to use it, which wouldn't be the worst idea in the world given the level of success second- and third-generation stars have had trading on their family name. Was it ever actually stated on-screen she's a Guerrero?
