So, with all of this going around... Apparently Chilies is going to donate a bunch of money to a charity for Autism that says Vaccinations cause Autism....?
-edit- story I read was old. Do to customer complaints and such, they've changed their mind.

She just strikes me as a woman who finds it hard to accept that she doesn't have a pristine perfect child, so she's ignored all logic in order to blame something for his condition.

I was gonna go on a diatribe today, but you stated my #1 complaint about her. Just because somebody has autism doesn't mean their life is over and that they can never amount to anything. The idea of an autistic person being stuck in remedial classes until the age of 18 and then to be shipped off to the institution strikes me as being both narrow-minded and being a total jackass. If she truly cared about the cause, she would comment as to how important it is to find out about the problem early and, with counciling and some education, most autistic people can break out of their shells and live prodcutive, independent lives. Instead, she's trying to find a "convinent" scapegoat as to what causes autism. You can't cure mental conditions, contrary to what quacks and swamis might wanna think. From the day we are born until the day we die, us people have to live with them.

I doubt she's to blame for measles spreading.

I know a lot of people who aren't vaccinating their kids it's a trend and has little to do with her. There arebactual studies with evidence to support the theory that has nothing to do with her No, there aren't. No legit studies support the idea that vaccinations are harmful. Anyone who doesn't vaccinate their kids is too selfish to admit their wrong and would rather put everyone else's lives in danger. Bingo. There's only the one study that every anti-vaccination moron points to that links autism to vaccines. And not only was it proven wrong by peer review, it turns out the asshole who wrote that study admitted to making things up in order to push his agenda. Let's stop this whole "it's just opinions" and other bullshit statements that advocate for false sense of objectivity. Because it's fact: there is no link between autism and vaccines. If you choose to ignore that, you're a horrible person.

Plus she's Melissa McCarthy's cousin and barely acknowledges her. Jealous much that she could get over not by looks but by talent?
/For argument's sake let's pretend Mike and Molly ended at Season 3. //And regardless, I think Melissa is pretty #effyourbeautystandards

Andrew Wakefield is the fraudster that is cited in her claims. He may've lost his licence to practise medicine because of this but I'd have to double check. He did. He moved to Austin, TX in order to continue spreading his bull.

I've stated in the past my sister is a Speech pathologist that works specifically with autistic children. She and hates Jenny McCarthy with every fiber of her being. i think she said her child is no longer autistic thanks to a gluten and dairy free diet, or something along those lines Yeah, she claims that she has cured her son's autism... though it's extremely likely he wasn't autistic and had some other disease that often gets misdiagnosed as Autism. Landau-Kleffner syndrome is llkely. It produces signs often confused with autism, followed by a disappearance of those signs after a certain amount of time (it varies).

Look, I know WrestleMania XI was bad, but we don't need to vilify everyone involved. I can't stay mad at Jonathan Taylor Thomas, though. His performance as Simba, IMO, was award worthy.

Sadly charisma and familiarity creates an aura of trustworthiness. You could get 1000 top bologists on one side and her on the other in a room, the attractive blonde with public speaking ability wins out every time.
This especially is added to when it plays on a fear close to many people's hearts. Some people want to believe anything if it takes a little uncertainty out of their lives.

I doubt she's to blame for measles spreading. She's popularizing the choice to not vaccinate. She's at least partially to blame.

But the parents likely wouldn't have even heard of such an absurd idiotic practice had it not been for her.

There's a lot of blame to be given out. From the stupid parents unintentionally killing their kids to stupid, but loud people who advocate for it, along with the outright evil people who fabricated this connection in the first place.
