So, are the TNA stars just sitting around at Jeff Hardy's place watching Mania on his Dell, or is TNA doing anything this weekend?

I am surprised TNA has not seen the success of Wrestlcon and other indies have by doing shows during the Wrestlemania week. Not saying they are an indie, but could take advantage of the giant wrestling week

They're touring Georgia for some odd reason.

Not saying they are an indie, but could take advantage of the giant wrestling week It's one thing for an indy to piggyback on the Mania hype, but might seem a bit awkward for a "major promotion" like TNA to do it. TNA probably thinks that doing such a thing would be "bush league". And I'm sure some of us would still go "LOLTNA" if they had a show in New Orleans during this week.

Since when does something coming across as "Bush League" frighten TNA away from doing it?

But now so many legends are at Wrestlecon and the indies really going out of there way to put on supershows I no longer see it so much as bush league and more of making Wrestlemania week such a huge deal. Though I see your point, and ya, people would still go LOLTNA

They probably went to a ppv blast zone at Hooters together. Dixie made the guys order water and share a 5 piece wing meal. They probably stole napkins and condiments to save on future catering.

TNA did one year (I want to say Mania 24, but all those "stadium era" manias seem to blur together in to one, so I couldnt tell you which one was which). though to be fair it was in Orlando, so they capitalised by running their TV tapings that weekend, leading to one of the Highlanders being seen in the crowd and losing his job and ruining the other highlanders career in the process.

The downside is the very real risk that they would draw less fans than ROH or DGUSA. Indy fans wouldn't be caught dead there and most WWE fans -- except, perhaps, for the Brits -- would rather to to AXXESS or Wrestlecon.
You can't keep that off the internet. If TNA ran, say, two shows and drew 200 people despite papering the house, it would be a complete PR disaster that would only underscore how desperate TNA's situation is.
