The next inductee should be Samoa Joe.

Nah, TNA need to do something to legitimize their hall this year so it needs to go to someone from their past and not their present. Shamrock or Jarrett this year.
Not saying that will happen because it's TNA but that's what I'd like to see.

TNA Hall of Fame? What a joke. Let us instead, discuss a real organization that honors the true legends of the industry. The only Hall of Fame that is worth any discussion in the Impact Wrestling forum.
So, who should go into the Extraordinary Gentleman's Organization Hall of Fame this year? I think it really might be Frankie Kazarian's time this year.

Curryman needs to go in the EGO Hall of Fame... inducted by his biggest fan Christopher Daniels edit: Also TNA should induct someone that isn't on the active roster for the first time.

No one. The next induction should be no one.
Inducting current workers in your HOF is a sham. A HOF should be for legends of the past who helped make your company what it is. People who made a mark and are bonafide legends. Now don't get me wrong; Sting and Kurt Angle are potential HOF wrestlers, but both were inducted while they were still actively competing and it didn't make any sense to me.
The only two logical introductions at this point are AJ Styles, who's off doing better things, and Jeff Jarrett, who's created his own company. They need to forget the HOF exists for at least another 5-10 years until they have some proper talent to induct.

Oh come on like you don't know it that HOF was done only to induct Sting and Angle before WWE does.

He was their first 'guy' and I totally think he deserves some sort of recognition for his achievements in the business.

Yeah, just let this thing die. When the only people you can induct are people who a. are on the active roster or b. want nothing to do with you, you probably shouldn't have a Hall of Fame. I mean, sure they could induct Shamrock since he was the first champ but who else?

I completely forgot his existence in the company because despite being the first champion in the company, what else did he do? He's not a name I associate with them at all.

No, this would be the dumbest thing ever. He had like 2 matches and did absolutely nothing for the company.

No, this would be the dumbest thing ever. He had like 2 matches and did absolutely nothing for the company. What about the time when he "wrestled" in a tag match against Jarret and friends for a total of 27 seconds and could barely bend over to pin him. I hate to rag all the time on TNA but the WWE has celebrity inductions where a random celebrity did more than Macho ever did in TNA. I don't recall Macho Man ever even falling down in a single match in TNA. I'm not entirely sure he could.

Are you joking? A chance to one up WWE, with one of the biggest and most well known wrestlers ever You bet your ass they're at least considering Macho Man. They'd probably give Lanny everything he asked for. Him, Macho, Angelo, anything to throw it in the face of WWE.

TNA has a hall of fame, great. People have named some names in this thread, some have expressed a desire for it to not continued. Both valid opinions that can be debated either way. When you see crap like this you just shake your head and go WTF. Look TNA is a nice solid number 2. They tried going up against the big dog and they got their asses handed to them on a silver platter. Ok fine, let's just make our product the best we can be and quit worrying what they are doing. WWE is a machine we can't compete against but we got a nice spot here lets throw out some stuff that's different and make our fanbase happy. If that's the attitude this company has where it's just "yeah stick it to WWE that'll show them" then they are nothing but doomed to failure. It seems like some of it's fans do. That right there is a big part of why TNA gets crapped on whenever possible from all but the most hardcore TNA supporter. It's not that the show is bad. Hell it can be quite entertaining some of the time. Sometime it's meh, and sometime it's total garbage. Just like EVERY OTHER WRESTLING SHOW ON THE PLANET EVER!!! Mods sorry for hijacking this thread about with my rant, but here's a thread with some decent discussion and all of a sudden it's "yeah they're gonna f*** over WWE" that'll just turn into a back and forth "TNA sucks" "no it don't" mess soon. To right the ship so to speak...if that's the way TNA management is thinking then they deserve everything they get.
