Not sure if mentioned on a past page but Scott Hall, Cody Hall and Andrew Everett are all also joining the company. Truly brilliant signing in Andrew Everett if this is true, that boy has it. As they are not exclusive contracts by the sound of it, with the wrestlers still able to work with other indy companies (for me importantly that being PWG) I want them to pick up Trevor Lee as well. That boy has it, and has it in spades. He deserves a massive spotlight and coverage and GFW could be a good way of doing that for him Yeah, seriously. Trevor Lee is so damn good, he just needs someone to strap a rocket to his ass.

Source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter
- According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Jeff Jarrett has been talking to WGN, Spike, Fox Sports 2 and CMT about a possible television deal for Global Force Wrestling.
- There is no deal between GFW and Jim Ross, but the two sides are in negotiations. Jarrett is hoping to get more financial backing as well.
- Both TNA and ROH talents aren't allowed to work TV for GFW. RoH is allowing their roster members to work house shows, whereas TNA talents are still awaiting word. Despite this, Tyrus has accepted a spot on GFW's roster.
Spike Tv or CMT, the fear of landing a deal with Spike tv is that they use GFW to promote Bellator like they did with TNA(Remember Tito Ortiz)?

All I hope is that GFW beats TNA in the ratings. I'm willing to join the hype train out of spite.

They signed the Bucks, Best Friends, Gallows/Anderson and PJ Black.
That alone is enough for me to give it a shot. If its booked halfway competently then it'll be good.

I thought Jarrett had some clause in leaving TNA that he couldn't talk to Spike...
then again I guess that was just as long as TNA was on the network.
Has a bunch of good workers on the roster... I'll probably check it out.

I would like some clarification on what talents will actually be on tv and those who are strictly house shows. Outside of Moose(Whose ROH contract ends soon), who is going to be on the core roster?

Does Moose get to keep MOOSE!!!!! 17364639 Or is that owned by RoH? Honestly, he should either use his real name or a variation of it. Moose always sounded like a halfassed attempt to make him seem tough, but all I think of is Moose from the Archie comics.

I've been in a crowd of people chanting "MOOSE!" and it is awesome.

CMT is apparently available in around 87,000,000 (close to 75%) of American homes. I'd say it's not a bad network for an upstart wrestling promotion.

As per most of their other updates before the last week or so, the big news:
Global Force Wrestling HAS UPDATED ITS WEBSITE, even including the roster and newest articles!
This, of course, is a huge deal to every GFW fan out there to see a more updated roster- JOIN THE FORCE!
...oh, and they also announced Shelton Benjamin's been signed, as well as Takaaki Watanabe [the New Japan young boy they sent to ROH]...but still! NEW WEBSITE!

...can we still buy 8X10's of Karen? That's the important question.

So, the biggest star on the roster is Chael Sonnen? And he isn't even a wrestler.

So, the biggest star on the roster is Chael Sonnen? And he isn't even a wrestler. Eh, I'm actually okay with that. Well, not so much Chael, that guy gives me douche chills, but I mean the relatively young, "unknown to the mainstream" roster. It makes it look like they're really focused on building new talent instead of leaning on older guys, which is a problem that's kind of dogging the wrestling industry right now, leaning on the older names at the expense of new talent.

Spike Tv or CMT, the fear of landing a deal with Spike tv is that they use GFW to promote Bellator like they did with TNA(Remember Tito Ortiz)? I think Spike would be a great option for them, like, I had no problem with them promoting Bellator. The problem was the way TNA used guys and made them look really dumb, like, there are ways to make it work. It would be better if GFW could sign away Bobby Lashley from TNA as you could do a lot better cross promotion. There is a way to make that relationship work, but TNA was just bad at it. I also checked out the roster page. It is a good looking roster, though I'm guessing the legends like Scott Hall and Jim Cornette aren't full time. Cornette has said as much that he's just the local legend. Also, the New Heavenly Bodies need to just be the Heavenly Bodies and maybe have Dr. Tom manage them. You put "New" in front of anything, it just means death.

Also, Jimmy Rave's involved with this thing, so it's officially got my seal of approval.

The roster looks good. Mostly guys that are somewhat known whether they be fledgling indy talents or WWE alumni. But they lack a "star". They don't have anyone who I could see as their ace, who could be their "World Heavyweight Champion". The highest profile guys they have are the Young Bucks.

As long as the relationship between them isn't toxic still, signing with CMT could net them Steve Austin at a taping.
