The name itself isn't too bad... it's a little Generic but it's a hell of a lot better than TNA

Yuuup. They've got no tv deal, no signed talent (just "500 performers in our database"), Toby Keith doesn't seem to be involved, and they're saying they're gonna go even more in an unscripted/reality tv direction, because WWE & TNA have too much wrestling right now.
It's clearly ready to take the wrestling world by storm.

Now you're gonna tell me I spell Jeff Fawkesworthee wrong too, huh? Such a kidder. It's no big deal. I can't stand either of them or Lawrence The Telecomumnications Technician at all. On topic, I still can't get over how bush league and terrible the name, website and logo are but I really hope they can scoop up some good talent and get themselves on TV with a good wrestling product. Yeah, I agree about the name. Global Force sounds like the name of some cheesy low budget Steven Seagal action movie. But I'm just hoping they have some good talent & decent production values. I'm honestly not liking the rumored talent involved so far though like Burke, Smith & Archer. Was never a fan of any of them.

"It just won't be a bunch of wrestling matches; we have exciting announcements to come. TNA or WWE right now is match after match after match. Global Force Wrestling is not going to do that. There will be matches but there will be a lot more and a lot more variety placed into the actual events that will be really innovative and fresh," he says."
After all who wants to see 'match after match after match' on a wrestling show??? Its refreshing that they're 'not going to do that'. Hopefully there will be lots of reality based skits. Wrestling fans love reality based skits after all. I'm tired of seeing hard hitting, well constructed wrestling matches that take me out of the moment....... Bring on the van-based kidnapping ninjas!

TNA has trademarked the van-based kidnapping ninjas. GFW will utilize cartel enforcers in a hatch-back.

so this is from a tweet he posted yesterday, and while the tweet is uneventful, the picture, well: Karen: What do you want to do tonight, Jeff? Jeff: The same thing we try to do every night, Karen...try to take over the world!

So Global Force is actually the team that's assembled to stop Jeff and Karen from taking over the world, and the only way to accomplish that is through wrestling.

This reads like something a guy tells his mother when he leaves town to chase a dream but ends up borderline homeless and on drugs. "Yeah Mom, I'd tell you what I'm up to but heh, I'm sworn to secrecy. Let's just say there's some big time Hollywood producers lining up at my doorstep!"

It's clearly ready to take the wrestling world by storm. It's only just been named and came about in Jan. The shows won't start until 2015. Keep in mind TNA DID NOT have a TV deal when it started and took two years to get a non PPV time slot. The in ring talent will come but not right this moment. They are working on the behind the scenes stuff first. There is rumor of three wrestlers sign. But sounds like more will be come soon. At less Jarrett is far more creditable than anybody else who "claimed" too be the next big company to replace WCW. Jarrett did launch TNA.

At less Jarrett is far more creditable than anybody else who "claimed" too be the next big company to replace WCW. Jarrett did launch TNA. TNA did not have a tv deal at the start because they didn't want a tv deal. instead Jarrett & Co. came up with the brilliant idea of having fans fork over $10 a week to watch their shows on ppv. this innovative business model was so successful, that in less than a year they had to sell controlling interest of the company to Dixie Carter (well, to her parents' company) so they could stay in business. the reason everyone keeps bagging on this is because its been all hype. four months of build up for a lame name, a shitty logo, and they're working with the creator of Biggest Loser. do they have the date of the first show yet? no. have they announced any signed wrestlers yet? no. do they have shirts that are most likely made by One Hour Tees? you bet! they're portraying themselves as the next big thing in wrestling, and so far they've got jack to show for it. all we've gotten out of the Jarretts and GFW is a bunch of hot air (and you can smell the bullshit wafting off their press releases) and crappy shirts. and as for Jarrett launching TNA, i think its kind of ironic he's partnered up with the creator of The Biggest Loser. unless TNA ever changes its ways, when it eventually does go out of business it will go down in history as the promotion with the biggest potential that always ended shooting itself in the dick. some of the biggest names in wrestling history mixed a bunch of the most promising young talent backed by a billion dollar company with a weekly show on a national television, how do you screw that up? simple, you suck. every promotion, from WWE to the lowest indy, has good periods and bad periods, but they have has been so steady with their suckatude (always fun to use an E&C word) that they've raised it to an art form. TNA is the biggest loser in wrestling because its had the biggest potential and the most advantages of any US promotion outside of WWE, and while at a few points its actually been good, the vast majority of TNA's history ranges from mediocre to shit.
