I think the length is ok. It reminds me of Gabbo being quickly played on the tv.

I think the length is ok. It reminds me of Gabbo being quickly played on the tv. so...GFW is going to become really popular and steal the WWE's audience, only for Bart to record the GFW globe talking shit about the audience and the crowd leaving them and going back to WWE?

Well, that's what happened with TNA, and Jarrett started that company up.

I hope this actually turns into something. The more different promotions out there that are actually alive the better. I'm very interested to see who they make THE guy here. Hopefully it isn't a TNA (NWA days) rehash.

JEFF JARRETT GFW UPDATE by Dave Scherer @ 2:22 PM on 3/25/2015
Take it for what it’s worth, but we have been hearing that Jeff Jarrett’s Global Force Wrestling has been starting to book wrestlers for 8/22 show that will take place in Las Vegas, NV.
It's possible that it may be a pilot TV taping for the promotion. It is not clear if it would be used to shop the brand or whether there is more to them being broadcast on an outlet.
We will have more as it happens.

Don't get why they or any new promotion would bother with TV these days, just stream the shows on your website.

In interviews hyping Wrestle Kingdom, he said there was nothing stopping him from working with Spike.

As long as Jarrett doesn't come out as the champion, I'll check this out.

Don't get why they or any new promotion would bother with TV these days, just stream the shows on your website. SOUNDS like a good idea. BUT...if your going to charge, maybe $9.98 for it...most people are just going to justify only having the network and Netflix/Hulu/Amazon Prime/Cable in their spending. Also, a lot of the people who might pony up will be also spending on NJPW. They do probably have cable though. Now...if their partnership with NJPW could start with that as an avenue, that sounds a lot smarter. Make NJPW World with GFW tv for 14.99.

Jumping ahead and doing a streaming deal would be smart, but the concepts are still so new that established brands are the only ones doing well with this and they still have TV deals anyway. WWE network missed projections but I still think it was the right choice. I'd rather it be a TV channel but I'm older and am used to TV as my primary source of entertainment. The trend toward streaming services is good because it stands up to cable and satellite providers with the ala carte service we have called for for decades. Cable had its chance to change and didn't, I have no sympathy. But even still a new brand in GFW, beginning in a struggling market (wrestling is down) will have a huge hurdle if they went all streaming right off the bat. TNA has been established for more than ten yrs and if they jumped into the fray and launched a streaming service, I think it would kill them. WWE is spending a fortune to stand up, establish and diversify their streaming service and they have swimming pools of money. If TNA couldn't do it with their kiddie pools of money and they have a ten yr base, than GFW would be very hard pressed to do well with one. Launch TV, couple with youtube and have your own site's on demand service. But a stand alone streaming package isn't readable for a day one product unless you have a few hundred million to market with
