I'm sure egos will not allow it, but if TNA was smart I think they would try to work out some sort of programming deal with wwe.

Well it's a ridiculous subject. "Hey, let's talk to a rival company (no matter how much higher on the food chain they are) about putting our show on THEIR network! I'm sure they'd go along with that no problem!"
It'll only happen if WWE buys TNA. You don't see other current wrestling promotions on the WWE network. It's a silly idea.

If they went to the Network, at least people will watch it.

Nobody told you guys to piggy back on my posts!!
Although seriously, this would be a bad idea. Even though I myself would like to see tna work deals with the wwe and see cool stuff happen, this would not work. Not only would it make them look even more bush league, I could see the wwe try to influence the product since tna is on their property.

reason why wwe should add tna, because Adding another league would add legitimacy to the network.
Unless you really like old wrestling there is very little variety in the programming. It's either big shows, or people talking about big shows. A new product that has nothing to do with any wwe shows would give it more of a "network" feel.
TNA should join because their audience is shrinking, and it's not all their fault. Over all the demographic they are trying to cater to(18-30) are not watching conventional television as much. WWE network is a great way to catch their demographic, and probably get rid of the demand for high ratings.

The NFL Network doesn't play games from anyone not part of the NFL. Same for the NBA, NHL, and MLB Networks. There are no obligations from WWE to air any show not part of their corporate umbrella. You got a better chance of Apple endorsing Microsoft products.

You got a better chance of Apple endorsing Microsoft products. A: There's no obligation for anyone to do anything. I how ever think it's a smart choice for both parties. B: the wwe only has a fraction of the the content that any other legitimate sports league has, and then how much of that is quality is highly debatable. C: for the network to survive the wwe has to provide enough content to make it worth watching more than one time a month. WWE providing a new tna show gives some wrestling fans a reason to log on. D: Tna needs the fans. Traditional tv is dying. They need to embrace a streaming service, very soon. If not wwe network, they should try netflix or hulu. But I think wwe network is the best idea..

WWE has plenty of new weekly content let alone just the ppv. I think you might be overestimating how valuable the TNA brand is on a nationwide scale. What night would they put this on? Sorry Thursday's are taken already. Who is paying who for these TV rights? Why would WWE pay TNA what Spike is paying them now when they can make cheaper programming similar to what they already have on (Countdown/Legends House/Monday Night Wars to name a few). I can just see all the "LOL give evil Vince money no f'n way WWE is the suxxorz WWEPG" geniuses who wont sign up out of their spite and principles and will just go to "alternative" measures to watch. To expound on that further, do you honestly think that WWE would let a wrestling program from a competitor be able to broadcast on their network without creative control? So the answer to this question on so many levels is just plain old no. Only way this ever happens is IF (notice I said if don't everyone get all upset) one day WWE buys the TNA tape library.

WWE owns enough wrestling video libraries that they can air new content everyday for almost 7 years before going into repeats. WWE also create new content for their network on a regular basis. They have no need for TNA in its current form. WWE isn't going to buy TNA's tv rights if SPIKE doesn't renew. If people want to get the same feeling as watching TNA, they could watch late 2000 WCW Nitro and Thunder on the Network. Or just watch Impact on SPIKE. WWE isn't the big brother who got help hapless little TNA get their footing. WWE is a corporation. Not a charity. TNA isn't growing and stagnant for a number of reasons. Being on traditional tv is one of the reasons they are still around.
