I guess wwe figures they can takes ideas from tna, and no one would notice.   I'm also sure there will be wwe fans who will think Aces and 8s was a rip off of The Shield(instead of the nwo). |

Aces & 8's debuted before the Shield, so hopefully no one thinks they're a rip-off of them. Personally, I don't think either is a rip-off of the other.

Wait are we really going to complain about masks that look nothing alike? Let alone one set was for concealment and they were all different and the other was just "oh cool we got skulz on our faces".
If we're really gonna complain about stealing things from other companies TNA should be ashamed of themselves for stealing ECW's bounced check/not paying talent on time gimmick.

Huh, I forgot Fat DLo was apart of the Aces and 8s, and had to completely cover every inch of his body since he was the only non Devon black dude in the company.

They're named The Shield, and they started wearing masks on Sunday. I'm thinking it's more of a reference to a pretty damn big (and AWESOME) movie that just came out.
Besides Aces & Eights are totally ripping off Kane, he wore a mask before them.

God I get tired of these threads. It's wrestling, everybody steals ideas from everybody else when they think it works. TNA, WWE, ROH, they all do it. So can we just get over the rip-off's already?

I come to the TNA board on the week right after WM30 and, on the very same day that a bearded underdog with a serious arm/shoulder injury who is hated by the higher-ups pulls double duty to become the Nº1 contender at and challenge for the TNA title, I come across a thread suggesting WWE got the idea for generic gang masks from TNA. It's just too funny.

Actually, he's not 'Corporate', he's just hired muscle for the champ, who also no longer has corporate backing since Dixie's team lost at Lockdown & she didn't look like she liked him anymore on Impact. Plus, the authority on the show is MVP, who likes EY way more than Magnus. |
