I wonder if RVD will get involved in this whole Bryan/Authority deal since he kinda was when he left back in October? I thought they had an interesting and subtle storyline going with RVD mildly stepping up to HHH, then HHH put him repeatedly in matches designed to get him injured.
For what it's worth RVD is one of the few wrestlers WWE has that is over with any audience. The typical crowds pop for him, and even the cynical "Night after WM" crowds go nuts for the guy. That's actually pretty rare these days. Bryan is the only other one I can think of now that Punk is gone. Cena, Sheamus, and Big E. all got crapped on by the crowd last night. Cesaro is over but I'm hesitant to call him a babyface with Heyman around.

I dont mind him being back, He is defenetly better then he was in TNA he works hard enough. Just keep him away from anything major.
Least this part-timer is in good enough shape to go, Id rather watch him over Batista

he'll do alright as a lower-midcarder. It's too stacked for him to be anything else now really.

Maybe he can feud with Christian. At least the matches would be good. They had a really good ladder match in 2003, and in my opinion Christian's improved a lot in the ring since then. Now the only problem would be if he'd be uninjured long enough for the match to take place.

Glad he's back, I have nothing to complain about regarding his matches. He actually had one of the best matches of the night against Dean Ambrose at a house show I went to last summer.
