At least he's better than Santina!
Jokes aside, Santino could use a repackage to freshen up his character. Maybe he could be brain washed by Sandow into being respectable or join an RTC like stable where they take non-serious wrestlers and put a stick up their butt.

yeah I stopped caring about Santino a long time ago. there was a time when I found his antics hilarious but now he's just another one of those guys whose really stale, doesn't seem to be doing anything important, isn't going to reinvent himself and just eats up ring time. so basically, he's mini-Big Show.

Maybe the big summer storyline this year will be Santino become a serious heel main eventer for one PPV.
And to fit a board meme, maybe he'll now go by 'Tino and become a serious gay heel main eventer for one PPV.

I sort of dug him in the beginning when he just pronounced things incorrectly and was oblivious, but they're just trolling with him now. They have to be.

I want him to be a heel again. He was awesome and hilarious at it.

I pop for just about everything Santino does. They should've let him win the 40-man Royal Rumble.

I don't, can't and won't blame him.
I remember when he almost won the Rumble, came THISCLOSE to winning an Elimination Chamber match (a match where he eliminated two guys), and when he managed to overcome Ziggler/Swagger to retain the U.S. Title the night after WM XXVIII.
The problem started right after that, when they almost never had him defend the title, which was absolutely not his fault, but people blamed him for it all the same.
Personally, I think he should be on the list of people Daniel Bryan should defend the title against, make Bryan a fighting champion who gives floundering guys title shots so you make Bryan look good by having him successfully defend the belt repeatedly while elevating guys who could use the rub.
I'd love to see Bryan/Ziggler, Bryan/Santino, Bryan/Kofi, hell, Bryan/Miz would make a fine one month feud on a lesser PPV considering the history between them.

I'm with you thus far. It's a splendid idea. Yeah, it has some potential. It'd be a pretty good match for sure. I mean, that's a little out there. I don't think DB should look vulnerable against Santino out of the blue, but with a proper build that could be interesting. Especially if they repackage Santino in some strangely believable fashion. It'll be a great match and possibly the 57th time that Kofi has randomly gotten a super-push. Hopefully it won't be forgotten the very next week. Still, this idea is great. ... Yeah, I don't like this idea so much anymore.

the only thing that would redeem the angle is if an announcer tiptoed around Santino and Emma finally getting together and their response is something to the effect of "what? we've been f***ing for months, dude"
