The WWF tag team titles changed hands only four times in 1996. They changed hands 15 times in 1999, including 10 changes between August and November.

I f***ing loved this game as a kid. Renting this game is what started me on the path of becoming a wrestling fan. Loved Vince yelling "PIN EEM!" at the end of matches. Same here! One of my all time favorite games to play at an actual arcade.

Not really obscure as much as it is a wacky piece of trivia: In Edge's first televised Raw match his opponent suffered a serious neck injury, in Edge's last regular appearance he retired due to a serious neck injury.

Plus his first house show was against Bob Holly, who also suffered a bad neck injury.

Of the brothers tag teams to hold the titles in the WWF, only five are actually brothers.

Edit: Never mind, I just remembered the Rhodes Bros were tag champs earlier this year. So much for making an impression on me with that run. Double edit: And The Wild Samoans, Afa and Sika, so that makes it six.

David Flair held the WCW US title for 35 days, which is longer than the two reigns of Terry Funk (19 days)

Christian was stripped of the NWA title before his triple threat match with Angle and Sting. Angle won that match, and had the physical NWA title, but was never recognized as NWA champion, but was considered the TNA World Champion on the next iMPACT Christian is not a recognized TNA World Champion. So I guess he was just defending the idea of a world title at that TNA PPV in 2007

The Basham Brothers That's a lot of fake brothers. And Hogan and Edge. Brother.

You're correct. TNA goes back and forth on their lineage of the titles. The X-Div title dates back to day 1, but the rest sometimes do, and sometimes don't.

Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley are the only two superstars to appear on the cover of a Smackdown game (I'm including Smackdown vs. Raw and WWE as Smackdown games.) Who would not appear on the following installment of the series.

Far as I can tell, Raven is the only wrestler to get WWF/E, WCW, ECW and TNA figures made of him. Speaking of action figures, there was a line of action figures made in Japan by Popy that were released in 1981 (3 years before LJN's WWF and Remco's AWA lines) that included Andre, Hogan, Abdullah, Backlund and the Funks. The following year, the same company released many of the same wrestlers in another line (think M.U.S.C.L.E. or blind bag figurines) of superdeformed toys.

I think I recognize almost everyone here but who is the one guy standing (unboxed) on the left and who is the guy with the question mark mask?

I think the one on the left is Backlund, I know they made one of him. No clue on the question mark guy, but guessing he was one of the guys coming up with Tiger Mask around that same time or a Mascaras-era luchador. Since he doesn't have a package showing who he is, also pretty sure the balding figure between Abby and Masked Riddler is Dory Funk Jr.

Same token: Lance Storm (WCW Backstage Assault/ECW Anarchy Rulz), Raven (WCW Mayhem/ECW Hardcore Revolution, and Chris Jericho (WCW Mayhem/Wrestlemania 2000) are the only three wrestlers to appear as playable characters in two promotions' video games in the same "season" of game.
