Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley are the only two superstars to appear on the cover of a Smackdown game (I'm including Smackdown vs. Raw and WWE as Smackdown games.) Who would not appear on the following installment of the series. Same token: Lance Storm (WCW Backstage Assault/ECW Anarchy Rulz), Raven (WCW Mayhem/ECW Hardcore Revolution, and Chris Jericho (WCW Mayhem/Wrestlemania 2000) are the only three wrestlers to appear as playable characters in two promotions' video games in the same "season" of game. You can add Bret Hart to the list, who was in WWF War Zone and WCW Revenge

A bit of a grim subject but the only wrestlers who wrestled during 1998 on PPV who are deceased are Owen Hart, Hawk Big Bossman and Golga.
Contrast with 1997: Crush, Davey Boy Smith, Brian Pillman, Hawk, Owen Hart, Doug Furnas, Hector Garza.

The Rumble was the high-water mark of all of their WWE careers.

If you watched Royal Rumble 1992, Ric Flair won and became the "Undisputed World Wrestling Federation Heavyweight Champion"; almost 10 years before Chris Jericho. And Savage did it four years earlier at Wrestlemania 4.

Chris Jericho was the first man to kick out of the Olympic/Angle Slam. The first of approximately 20,000.
They're all wallabies!

I kinda feel bad for Big John Studd, just in that he seems to get lost in the legend shuffle sometimes.

Bob Sapp is a former IWGP Champion and had to vacate the title after losing a legitimate kickboxing match.

It doesn't help that throughout almost the entirety of his runs in the promotion *as* Studd, he was almost constantly feuding with Andre, who pretty much made Studd's entire gimmick of being THE big guy superfluous and unnecessary. I know they made a lot of money off that feud, but I wonder how they'd have fared had they kept Studd and Andre apart as much as possible; let both of them get their gimmick over with a long-brewing first clash followed by only very occasional meetings.

There are 18 stars on the front plate of the WWE Intercontinental Championship belt. Is there a significance to that number? Like, does it represent anything specifically?
