Depends on how you view Austin's win in 2001. Yes, he was a face going into the match, but he sure as hell walked out a heel. Now, did he turn post-match or in-match, that's the burning question. Due to the turn- and especially the fact that, in-arena, they didn't know Austin was a heel until the next night on Raw, makes it look like he turned post-match. Either way, in fairness to add to this one: By not winning last night, Roman Reigns joins King Kong Bundy, Nikita Koloff, and Brutus Beefcake as the only men in history to fight for the World Championship of a major American promotion in that promotion's biggest annual event (be it Wrestlemania, Starrcade, or Bound for Glory) and yet NEVER hold a World Championship. How about Ted Dibiase? He wasn't fighting the champion, but as the final, his match with Savage was for the WWF World Championship.

At Wrestlemania 20, undersized but beloved for his in ring expertise, Chris Benoit defeated Triple H in a three way match for the world title. Benoit's first one on one pay per view title defense was against Kane. The following year at Mania, Benoit competed in a multi-man ladder match.

Austin or Hogan never had a one on one match at the Royal Rumble. They only competed in Rumble matches.

It really feels like there should be more than that, but I guess given Luger never got the belt, one of the few guys in a position to do it didn't make it happen.

Gregory Helms factoids!!!
-Gregory Shane Helms has held the cruiserweight title 3 times, each time with a different gimmick. First time as boyband member Shane Helms, Second time as the superhero Hurricane Helms and finally as Super serious Gregory Helms. -Helms was the last reigning defending WCW cruiserweight champion (under WCW control) and brought the title to the WWE. -Helms is the longest reigning Cruiserweight champion, holding the title for well over a year (385 days), he is also the longest reigning champion in the brief history of the Smackdown brand. -At one point The Cruiserweight champion Gregory Helms (215 lb) outweighed the Heavyweight Champion Rey Mysterio (175 lb) -Both Helms tag title wins have been with much larger masked men (Kane and Rosey)

The first Undertaker vs. Kane match took place in Smoky Mountain Wrestling. Do you mean the characters or the men representing them? Because if it's the first...

How? Brolin's in Sisters with John Cena and Master of Disguise with Jesse Ventura. Though I suppose you could dispute it as Sisters hasn't been released yet. There's a few people who link Ventura and Cena with one degree of separation actually, I just found James Brolin the most interesting.

WrestleMania 3 was held at the Pontiac Silverdome in 1987.
WrestleMania 3's ticket sales were $1.6m.
The Pontiac Silverdome was sold in 2009 for $583,000.
Adjusted for inflation, that $1.6m in 1987 was $3m in 2009.
WWE made enough from the ticket sales of WrestleMania 3 to buy the building it was held in... 5 times over.
