WWE 2K15 may have been the first WWE game to utilize facial scanning technology, but it wasn't the first wrestling game to do so. A WCW game, known to the public as WCW 2000, was in development by EA when WWF bought them out. 1993 was the first time that the WWE title was defended in the main event of the Summerslam.
1995 would be the first time that the WWE championship match ended in a pinfall at the Summerslam.

Was not. I stand corrected. I thought Hogan/Quake closed the show, but you're right. It's a mistake easily enough to make, as Hogan/Quake was the co-mainevent, and that feud was easily bigger than Warrior/Rude anyway. Heck, the title match at SummerSlam 1992 was also a co-mainevent, and if I'm not entirely wrong, that match did close the show on the US broadcast of the event. Can a US poster who watched it "live", and remember the order of matches, comfirm or correct me on this?

Pretty sure Bret v Bulldog ended the US PPV. I hope I still have the PPV recorded tape somewhere.

The winners of all the title matches in tonight's SummerSlam PPV entered the ring wearing white and gold. Ryback's ring attire was green and black, but he wore the IC Title to the ring.

I'm pretty sure they did the facial scan thing for WWF Warzone and Attitude.

In the 1995 Rumble, 5 wrestlers lasted more than 10 minutes In the 1996 Rumble, the first 10 entrants all lasted more than 10 minutes.

Maybe there's an old magazine article or something, but any development info I can find on the game doesn't mention it.

I did see people online saying that it was done for SYM and the Day of Reckoning games though.

Was not. Is that a game screen shot or just a low-res screen grab? Guess it's nice for the game developers you actually questioned if that was real.

The first person Hulk Hogan ever beat for a championship title was Ox Baker (the Southeastern Heavyweight belt).

CM Punk 434 day run as WWF/E Heavyweight Champion was the longest of the "Reality Era"
Of the last 35 years the only World Champs with longer reigns are:
Hulk Hogan(WWF & WCW) Nick Bockwinkle(AWA) Rick Martel(AWA) Ric Flair(NWA) Bob Backlund(WWF) El Canek(UWA)
