Jacques Rougeau (in any gimmick) and Ricky Steamboat have never been in a Royal Rumble. God, imagine if Ricky had hung around a few more months for the 92 Rumble. And threaten to bump Nikolai Volkoff from the match?! Pshaw! What an injustice to lose that legendary performance from that match!

It would've been great to see Steamboat and Flair clash during that match!

I was kidding, of course. This all being said...........did Steamboat and Flair ever wrestle each other in the WWF during 1991?!

This all being said...........did Steamboat and Flair ever wrestle each other in the WWF during 1991?! Nope. Steamboat spent almost the entire run going over Haku, Brawler, Skinner and Barbarian, with a few others (Demolition Smash, Paul Roma) thrown in. He DID have a match with his soon-to-be WCW tag partner Shane Douglas, who filled in for Haku on a show. The closest he would get to a "top" match during this run was one match against DiBiase (and a run-in saving Warrior from being put in Undertaker's bodybag, which went nowhere for Steamboat).

What I figured. But man, what a waste of his talent.
Was that whole Steamboat run in 1991 just to get him away from WCW? And/or still a punishment for leaving in 1988?
......that said, his ring gear (after he breathed the fire and took the giant dragon hoodie off) was pretty rad.

During Baron von Raschke's WWWF run, the promotion would censor his iron claw hold with a giant red X whenever he applied it on TV.
The WWWF's very first heavyweight title match inside a cage was Sammartino vs. Ivan Koloff
Demolition's Ax and Smash both had Mongolian gimmicks early in their careers.
Bad News Brown and Bad Leroy Brown were tag champions together, just not as those gimmicks. (1979 California)
The Los Angeles-based territory's NWA Americas Tag titles (previously known as WWA International Television Tag Team Championship) changed hands 278 times between January 1954 and December 1982, weeks shy of 29 years.

The Ultimate Warrior was never defeated cleanly on PPV Was he ever defeated clean during his WWF career? Yes, by Andre, but I think it was a botch, and Warrior was supposed to win. Or Andre was just sick of Warrior potatoing him, and shoot-pinned him. It's hard to tell.

Later on, they did the same thing when Blackjack Mulligan would put the iron claw hold on an opponent.

I wonder, has anybody else tried an TV Tag Team Title?

WrestleManias 2 and 4 have something in common : Both had battle royals, and Bret Hart was the last one eliminated in each one.
