[quote source="/post/10674687/thread" timestamp="1399022879" author=" Professor Chaos" WWE's thinking probably went like this: "Maybe we can generate some interest in this show by including someone who was part of a mainstream pop group from ten years ago." Eh. I dunno about that. Legends House has always been intended for the network, and I doubt anyone who's not a wrestling fan would get the network for some random chick that was once a part of a pop group. I think its more that she wants into the company, and this is her test drive/foot in the door so to speak. there was talk that they did shop it to other networks first though.

Ok, fair enough, but still. I highly doubt they hired some random member of a pop group to get a ratings boost. They'd have aimed a little higher IMO if that was the point of her having the limited role that she does have.

That's her whole role, be hot.

I want Pat Patterson back on WWE TV.
Not all the time though, I want him to show up randomly now and then and make double entendre's referring to his sexuality like he does on Legends House.
Kind of make it the new version of "Damn"

At most I think she wants to be involved with the company, but the whole reason for this discussion was another poster suggested it was for ratings. I'd reckon 80% of the people watching this show each week had no clue who she was prior to this. If it was Scherzinger, than I think that may have some merit, but even there it's a reach IMO. Anyway, I really disliked the first 2 episodes bar a few moments. I watched part of episode 3 yesterday and was about to really give up on the show, but I was bored late last night so decided to watch it in full and I felt it was the strongest one yet and Im actually looking fwd to next week (damn cliffhangers lol). I gotta say, as entertaining as Tony Atlas' stupidity and wtfness that comes out of his mouth sometimes, horndog, potty mouth, easily angered Mean Gene is stealing the show for me.

This Ashley chick should be a Diva. If she was never intended to be then why not put a Diva in that role? My understanding is that she used to be a member of the Pussycat Dolls. WWE's thinking probably went like this: "Maybe we can generate some interest in this show by including someone who was part of a mainstream pop group from ten years ago." She looks pretty young for her age. I would've guessed early 20's but being in a pop group from 10 years ago that'd put her pushing 30 or over by now.... so nevermind I doubt they'd be interested in making her a diva.

This may have been the best one yet. I love, love, love foul-mouthed, pissy Mean Gene.

This show is really hitting its stride. Everyone was on point in this last episode. So many great one-liners. I also love that bit of continuity with Tony drawing his wife, although the actual drawing seems like it leaves a lot to be desired. I'm getting a Trisha vibe from it.

I'm no artist, but the brief glimpse we got made it look really well done to me. I'll try to grab a screenshot.

Here we go. It doesn't look spectacular or anything, but he's just doing it for himself. It's a heck of a lot better than I could do: {Spoiler}

Jimmy Hart makes me laugh so much. He obsesses over the smallest stuff.
I also love salty-mouthed Gene Okerlund. I love this show.

Did anyone else notice Kenny King in the commercial for the next episode? If it was a Strip Club in Vegas than it is highly likely

My takeaway from this? Hacksaw seems like a dick.

Hacksaw seems like a real c***, yeah. I like how Tony just innocently bumbles around or just tries saying something nice like how he works with disadvantaged children and Hacksaw still jumps down his throat.

Just kind of thought this was neat: vacationpalmsprings.com/home_detail.php?home_name=rancho-mirage-harpo-marx-estateIt's an online profile of Harpo MArx's former estate, which was used as hose for Legend's House. Yes, for a low as $1,590 per night you can back at the moon just like Roddy Piper, cook an elaborate dinner in the same kitchen Pat Patterson made his famous cabbage rolls and play tennis on the same court as the legendary Fink.

Ho hum. Another week, another list of reasons why Roddy Piper is the greatest thing to ever walk this planet. The man needs a show devoted solely to him.
