It really is amazing how far Storm's stock has dropped... Yup and it's not like people here are putting all the blame on the bookers, he just isn't that good really. Solid hand but he never impressed me in the limited time I saw him. Plus him using the code breaker as a normal move angered me.

Yeah I'm not that impressed with who they have resigned compared to who left. I know that it's TNA not wanting to pay more or at less the same as before but always less. But some guys deserve that extra. There is no reason why AJ should ever been offered less. I find it interesting that the ones they want too offer less money and stuff of that nature are the ones who played key roles in making the company. It does seem like Spike TV is no longer being a partner in contract investments. Seeing that Sting left for the WWE and not retirement when it was known Spike payed for a lot of that contract. I'm wondering if that is that part of the reason.

He's pretty damn good in a hardcore setting, but normally he bores me quite a lot. And I have no connection to his character; it's not just because he's a redneck either, I enjoy the Briscoes heaps, he's just a pretty dang boring redneck.

Man, people really abandoned ship on him since last I watched TNA.
I've always liked the dude.

Strom lost a lot of career momentum in 2012 with the loss to Bobby Roode at lockdown. Ever since, he has just , kinda been going through the motions. I thought they should have let him go last year really. I think it was possible to save him post-Lockdown, he comes back and realizes he wasn't going far enough, thought he was still fighting a friend and Roode won't get that now (or something to that effect) before blowing through the BFG series and having the same BFG match with Roode he had, just winning the title in it. TNA caught lightning in a bottle with Aries and smartly went with it, but still ended up blowing it with him, IMO. But, yeah, once that feud with Roode ended, they took the worst traits he had, turned them to 11 and gave him no direction or care in the world and it destroyed him.

The thing that killed him was that after Lockdown, they basically cut off his balls. He went home, sat around on his farm, and they basically stopped just short of showing vignettes of him eating ice cream on the couch and crying.

Of course he did. WWE doesn't want his ass. I don't think anybody in the known Universe thought Storm would go there. It's more like they were other options instead of staying in TNA, used in their "veteran wrestler purgatory".

For Storm himself, probably the best option right now. Don't think he should bank on seeing out those multi-years, but still.

Sorry about our damn luck.
Seriously though, I didn't relise he was so hated. I still like him, admittedly not as much as I did a few years ago.

He wouldn't gel well at all in pretty much any of the major US indie companies. Maybe he could get a gig over in Japan but even then, that's not really likely. TNA is his only option.

He seems like he would be an ideal fit there.

I hope Storm does more movies like Death From Above. He was gloriously awful in that.

Dude is 36 years old. WWE wouldn't want someone so close to 40 I think with his experience and background they might give him a shot. The experience of being an older dude on the Indy circuit who held the top title of the distant number 2? If they don't want AJ Styles, then there's really no way I see Storm being pursued.

If Bryan is God, does that mean Gunner is his son?

I now realize that TNA could have potentially done us worse when they put the world title on the bearded dude.
Nonetheless, congratulations to f***ing Gunner. At least, I assume his pay had to go up because he couldn't have been making much before hand.

Have to lock down Gunner. That is like locking up Hulk Hogan in 1983.

Have to lock down Gunner. That is like locking up Hulk Hogan in 1983. TNA couldn't let that much intensity run free.
